I am in desperate need of a new game to last me till Fable comes out this next month. Every list of good games for girls has some kind of anime boobs all over the place game with jet-skis, idk what that's all about. But I want a good game that's newer that plays similar to Fable, and you can play as a girl. I don't like Oblivion or Final Fantasy, so leave those out. (What that means is I have both already). So any girls out there, or guys...what games are female friendly? If I have to watch my boyfriend play Madden one more night.....

I like survival horror, if it's not too disturbing. I like puzzle games. I don't really like stop and fight type games like Final Fantasy. I loved Red Dead, so maybe something like that- and if you can't play a girl, something that isn't toooo testosterone driven.

Halo: Reach, you can create your own character male or female.

I'll kick you butt... in a very non-testosterone kinda way.


Or wait a week, then buy Dead Rising 2 - you can't play as a chick, but you can crossdress while beating zombies with a friend online

The Sims 3 = .. Do I really need to explain this one?

Mirror's Edge = A 1st-Person puzzle game where you play as a female.

Saint's Row 2 = You can deeply create and play as a female in the game, same gameplay as RDR.

Fallout 3 = Similar to Oblivion except an FPS-RPG, create and play as a female.

L4D/L4D2 = Play as female in both.

I'd list off the games my wife normally plays, but I don't think you'd be interested in them.

on Reach 'most downloaded user pictures" thingy about 35 out of the first 50 are just pics of Kats ass

try playing condemned or fear ;)
may not feature a female main character, but very jumpy games.

also, don't feel alone on the madden thing. it has to be the single most overrated and boring game ever created. the only reason it sells is because so many people feel like jizzing themselves during the regular games isn't enough, so they buy a poorly designed game who's only bragging right is an up to date roster with the entire budget poured into making the helmets even shinier. every player has stats which only affect the probability of the outcome of whether you get tackled or the ball gets intercepted, meaning that the amount of skill is close to none. it's just a matter of being able to read play charts and having good luck. **** madden, **** ea, and **** the nfl.

This is an XBOX Original, but if you haven't played Darkwatch, I highly reccommend it.

You are basically an outlaw in the Old West who decides to rob a train, but accidentally unleashes a great evil, and it is your mission to stop it. It's really fun and unique.

Beyond Good and Evil! its on xbox!

Its sort of a RPG game. You play a girl called Jade and go around taking photos of animals for money, breaking into slaughterhouses, becoming a secret-agent like person with the rebels And you have to be really good at hiding in shadows and.......stuffs. (Plus the characters are loveable)

Sorry! Thanks for all the great ideas. I've never played Portal. I did a quick Wiki, since I'd heard of it, but never played. I think a friend owns it, I may borrow it to see what I think. I enjoy puzzle games. I'm toying with possibly getting Alan Wake. Has anyone played this? I made a list of all of the rest of the games that's been mentioned- and will rent/try out them and let you know what I think.
