Well as the new al Qaeda government settles in, villages of blacks are found completely slaughtered by the rebels (lots have ties and are involved in al Qaeda) who we helped take over the country. Not to mention Shria Law is now going to be put into place - Pro-Gaddafi tribes and others will be at war with the new government - and there will be little no no stability left in the region you can't help but ask yourself...

What did we do to help? I think the UN and NATO groups are the only groups who consider bombing a country and destabilizing a country a "humanitarian effort".

Alexander the Great conquered the persian empire in 10 years and the only thing that stopped him from going on was his death. The Romans conquered the middle east and the Byzantine Empire(Eastern Roam empire) still held on to that area 1000 years later. Compare this to what you said.

So your wrong. The middle east has been conquered. And while people have pulled out, it has been due to issues within that civillisation(Centuries later), rather than the people of that area forcing them to pull out, which is what happened with the russians.
