great but kind of annoying....

well, today I suddenly got the idea to tinker with my other "broken" 360. so I plugged it in and what do you know, the damn thing works. :w00t: :getlost: so, the downside is I got a new 360 a few months ago for nothing, the upside is now I can give the other 360 to my brother so he can finally STFU about not getting to play it often enough.

anyway, in about december, my 360 that I had just gotten fixed got the red ring of death again. so I got frustrated that it was broken again so quickly and just bought a new one. as it turns out the problem was something that I could have fixed, because it works now after just being unplugged for a few months. and so I guess the moral of this story is patience. :blush:

Give your brother your brokenish one and keep the new one you bought

Nothing's ever went wrong with my 360, touch wood, cause we bought a 4-fan cooling system for it.

Mine is just a normal Stock/Default 10gb Xbox and its worked PERFECTLY!!!

I've had the Halo 3 Special Edition one ever since it came out, finally about 2 months ago does it decide to give me two red rings (Something to do with an AV Cable or Over Heating). Funny thing is Microsoft Support was no help at all, I got stuck with an over seas technical help guy (Who I had a tough time understanding) and so finally I decided, screw it, I bought a simple arcade transfered over the Hard Drive and now my old one is a very fashionable paper weight.

Ahh yes, I had the same problem with mine. 2RR is an overheat. And those overseas guys... I can't make it anywhere with them. I just can't...

And on a side note, TJ, did it get the RRoD a long time ago? because it will probably only work for so long before it will crap out on you. Happened to my friend. And if it doesn't, then you got 2 Xboxs my friend.
