Actually my friend had one of those gaming books and it stated that it would have it thats how I found out.

This is gonna be nuts...I'm pretty good at Halo, only 3 of my friends can beat in multiplayer, but of course that all changes when you get on Live, but still I can't even imagine all the options you will have. The 4-player adds a kind of tactical feel to the game, especially since it's on Live, where you can be telling your other team-mates where to go. I gotta go get me some money for a 360 *puts on ski mask and runs to nearest bank*

In 2006 it stated for a fact that it would be including it? Bungie only officially announced it themselves recently.

Yeah its going to be an excellent experience and add a side to Halo we never thought possible, theres going to be so much to do and different ways of doing things. Also playing it with different people and as you said the strategic side of things will keep people coming back over and over again.

I really didn't read it my self but he did out of his gaming mag and said it has 4player coop

Must have just been a guess that they would include it then like all the articles i read back then, they werent sure however and stated it was only speculation and rumour at the time.

Well, I think it would be smart for game developers to make a good base for a game, release the title and maybe some early screenshots, getting people hyped up for it, and then as people on forums and such started wishlist threads and the like, the developers took notice and that's what they built the rest of the game around. This would make for a great game.

One thing that just came into my mind is, how would they get the cutscenes to mirror the players? As its possible to have 2 and 3 player also as well as the Single Player and 4 player, will the cutscenes show every player in them etc?

Nah they always have just player one I think they will continue the tradition.

Given the time they've put into this game, I think they'll have figured it out :) I'll stop answering the rhtorical question now^_^

Yeah i dont doubt they have a way around it but would seem like a lot of extra work to remake the cutscenes for 1 player, 2 players, 3 players and 4 players each time.

They have always shown only one player during cut scenes.

Precisely and that would take some of the fun out of there being more than one of you again. They said this was a mistake in previous Halo games in the series last time. As player 2 just felt like they shouldnt exist and like they werent meant to be there and had no effect on anything.

Well in the Halo novels, there are other Spartans, but they aren't on the mission with Master Chief, they're doing other missions. The books are really good, and the second one, "The Flood", is based on the first Halo game. These are the books in order:
1. The Fall of Reach
2. The Flood
3. First Strike
4. Ghosts of Onyx

i love those books ^^. and in the books. ALL the other spartans died when the covanant first attacks really.

Well, those were the Spartan-II's. In Ghosts of Onyx, the UNSC creates the Spartan-III program, and more spartans are born, and they kind of have an edge over the II's as far as equipment goes, but the II's were in development alot longer, so they have less health issues and are stronger and faster.
