Re: Help :'(

I went through this recently my dog died too sadly. I just remembered the gewd times and let time heal me that's all I kewd do.

Re: Help :'(

Whereas I, on the other hand, cannot wait for the hellhound of our home to drop down dead.

But seeing as you loved your dog, instead of trying to avoid feeling sad maybe taking some time to think about him will be good for you. It's better to grieve than ignore something like this and it's healthier to feel sad than bottle it all up. As Zarkes said, remember the good times and give it time to get easier to deal with :)

Re: Help :'(

Sorry to hear, it sucks to losing someone, especially a beloved pet. All i can advise is to remember, cry it off, and move on.
Much grievousness to you.

Re: Help :'(

i know its sounds crewl but... get a puppy, there is nothing more that i hate (other then cats) when ppl have a dog and love them so, then it dies and there all like " i could never go though that sadness again" 15years of love and friendship and about a week of sadness ive had 4 dogs over my life time 2 deaths and i have 2 still with me and when they die i will be sad for a bout a month then il get a new dog and love him/her the same as i loved the others

Re: Help :'(

i know the feeling. 3 years ago the golden retriever i grew up with was put down for having spinal cancer. it sucks, trust me i know.

just reminisce on the good times, read marley and me if you're feeling up for it (or watch if you're laze :P)

like anything else, time is the best healer. you will just come to appreciate the next canine companion in your life all the more.

If you do decide to give marley and me a chance READ THE BOOK! The movie sucks and doesn't represent how important this dog was to them, the book is amazing and i actually cried at the ending of reading it!
