No. It's bad enough people are using two large images together that take up my entire browser screen. I really shouldn't have to scroll through a thread and see nothing but a signature.
However, I can understand if it's for userbars and emoticons.

Yes but if there's a reasonable size limit it could work. Because I don't consider the userbar as a image because of it's size. I tried putting it in one pic with another one but it didn't work because the things didn't change.

what if you hide them, one member had maybe 30 "hidden its a spoiler" boxes, and nothing inside, which made a giant pyramid.

With the way people are around here and how they like to have big signature images, I can see them whining and moaning about the dimension limit being too small in order for this thing to work.
I'd say it's fine the way it is, it's really not that difficult to take two userbar images, and merge them with another image in Photoshop or which ever image editing software you're using. Some members have already cleverly done that in the past.
If the members are willing to even try that, then maybe.

I think it's fine. You get 2 for regular members, and I'm pretty sure Gold members Get 3 images.

I'd like the idea of 3, but make the images smaller. A lot of the images people use are ridiculously big.

Mine is pretty much the limit. If I was to use 3 images, I'd take one of those out and make sure it wasn't any bigger than that.
Besides, it doesn't stretch the page.
But just to keep you happy, I shrunk it. Now if you'd do the same with that image, we'd all be hunky dory.

If I want one or more pictures in my signature (usually for userbars) I open a black canvas with the background colour the same as the forums and just copy and paste my pictures into there. Therefore, having as many pictures as I want and it still only counts as one.
I don't think there's any need for more than 2.

I've done that before. Merged my userbar with a siggy so I could have more.

I am sort of stuck in between nought and one. To be honest, anything more than one is a bit excessive. No signatures would be great cause it would filter out the pointless pictures.

The site shrinks large images automatically. So I don't know what you're talking about.

There is no limit, which leaves members unaware of what is acceptable and what is not, allowing some of the members to abuse it as they please until a staff member gets annoyed or someone complains about it. We really shouldn't have to edit people's signatures, they should already have the common sense and courtesy for the other members here.
I'm surprised you don't have Avatar & Signatures disabled in your CP.
I wouldn't mind seeing dimension caps (reasonable ones), but that appears to be in the minority.

What's wrong with using spoilers for those images you just can't do without? That's the concession we give on the DMC and REN forums. Some of those guys have HUGE sigs and cannot seem to understand why it's stupid, inconsiderate and ugly, for the most part.
It's always the minority that spoil it for the majority - if everyone could just keep within an acceptable limit that doesn't mean scrolling through more images than posts, we'd all be happy. and could probably afford to be more generous with the limits.
