Re: Horses?

Hmm horses were did i hear this beafore oh yeah oblvion. I like idea but oblvion already has the idea of rideing horses.

Re: Horses?

Forget horses I wanna ride a giant scorpion! (like the BIG scorpion from the Arena in the first game

that would be neat to ride a horse this time around, though

Oh i just thought of this, how about a spell that makes your dog as big as a horse and ride around on Him! lolol charge into battle on your dog!

what The Fable 2 dog would say to that: :realmad: *whines*

Re: Horses?

Dogsled is the way to go, if snow is available. Otherwise the dog could just pull some kind of wagon. Make it a working animal.
Yeah, horses would be cool, but I personally would like more if the horses (or any other transportations) wouldnt change according to alignement. It would be nice for an angel-type character to ride with a real hell-stallion.

Re: Horses?

would be cool to have a 3m long Liger to ride since theyre more independent
and so theyll just maull enemies. like...hobbes

Re: Horses?

I like the idea of having different steads what about a Kirin or a Night Mare

Re: Horses?

I don't think it would work out.Isn't most of this game based around the dog?It would be inconveniant to ride on a horse and have to wait for the dog every time.

Re: Horses?

Hey people, i couldn't help but notice all the things about JoB back there. Here are a couple of points on dragons and JoB:

/Begin Rambling: The Mask can posess humanoids, as long as they don't have severly disfigured faces. JoB's "Human" form, is not JoB. It's just a poor human possesed by JoB. Even as a dragon, he wouldn't be able to conquer the world, so maybe thats the cause that he maybe created the mask, to posses humans. But let's make it more complicated. JoB's soul can posess not humanoid creatures. Maybe he posessed a dragon as a final hope of destroying the Hero? Maybe he would have resumed human form after the hero was dead, and then kill all opposition like Schyte and the GM (guilmaster) if the hero was good.

This would point towards that there are dragons beyond the bronze gate. Maybe they have prospered over the years, and now that the gate is open, they are ready to descend on the world again. The Bronze gate may have been built by ancient heroes and imbued with powerful magic so that the dragons couldn't get out. This would give a lot of new enemies to the game, such as wyrmlings and adult dragons.

Do not fear, since i think JoB would only choose the mightiest dragon to posess, and therefore, dragons would not be as difficult. Maybe he posessed the Dragon king, perhaps.

And maybe other evils lurked behind the gates. After all, the dragons would need food to survive, and dragons are the mightiest creatures ever.

That was all /End Rambling

Yeah, but the bronze gate was built to keep jack back, not dragons. And it was said that even the JoB dragon was not as powerfull as the ones that were in the old kingdom.:ninja:

Re: Horses?

The Jack of Blades is a Dracolich. :P

Description

A dracolich resembles a normal, living dragon at first, but as time goes, it ages and begins to partially decompose, so a very old dracolich really looks like a corpse, and may even be part skeleton.
Despite its wretched appearance, however, a dracolich is a very powerful opponent, with a very high challenge rating, since firstly it possesses both many weapons and plenty of minions. Usually it's evil chromatic dragons like black, blue and red dragons who become dracoliches, due to the evil magic involved in their creation; however, rumors spread about other kinds of dragons submitting to the process as well.
Dracoliches are created from evil dragons through some powerful necromantic magics. Basically, it consists of the dragon first dying and then taking over its own corpse. However, it also gains a vessel called a phylactery, or soul jar, in which its spirit is actually stored as well as retreats if the dracolich's body becomes destroyed. Thus, it is important to destroy both the dracolich's body and its phylactery or the monster will be back.
Bwaoahahaa. Anyway. This topic is about horses right? I like the idea of horses. :D

Either he means a virtual horse or a real horse...
