How Come

@Cheez: Because you never go in a cubicle and want to make sure everyone is looking at you so you can show off ur mad peein skillz

Why did people think Sucker Punch was a bad movie? I liked it...

But the question depends on very sci-fi-y technology, Tyloric.

I don't think some people are understanding the point of the question. It's not about the practicality or possibility of the thing, it's about the implications of it happenening. That's why they call it a thought experiment.

But I hate to have derailed this thread, so I'm going to request that the next post continue the game.

How come Disney put those stupid white gloves on their early cartoon characters?

That's what we're trying to tell you. There is no way in knowing because a) the technology doesn't exist, b) it probably will never exist and c) it's impossible to know.

I would say its because it would be too hard to draw hands in detail, so the white gloves make it a lot easier to animate etc.

How come the CSI programs are so popular? The people in it do the police's, and the SWAT's jobs as well as their own. Normal CSI people look like this. Its so unrealistic and over-the-top.

Nuh-uh. I'm afraid that's not the right answer.

But that's the nature of thought experiments. It's just asking for an opinion about the outcomes of a hypothetical situation. It's not so hard to do that, is it?

So they wouldn't leave fingerprints at the 1933 Reichstag fire.

EDIT: Oh, why I am so socially awkward?

It is, actually. >_>;

Predicting any answer is not hard. Predicting an answer you think is likely to be true is a lot harder, indeed.

Also, people apparently overlooked HB's question, and just continued with Tsuyu's, so I'll try to answer that one and the latest one.
Why people think Sucker Punch is a bad movie: I haven't seen it.

Why is Arseface so socially awkward: Well, the name says it all... arseface...

Why can I move my arm behind my head so much further than most people? It's freaky.

Excuse me, my question hasn't been answered!! >: (

Well I believe it's your hormones. I mean, I can't believe a movie with such a quantity of explosions, dragons, nazis, giant robots, sexy chicks and ****ing stone samurais could be so goddam boring.

Still no correct answer to my Disney question.

Just FYI.

I didn't notice this earlier, but I actually know the answer!

It was out of concern, before color motion pictures, that the hands couldn't be seen against their bodies since both were the same color.

At least I think that's it. What I remember reading, anyway.

No question from Monsier Tyloric, I see.

Bingo! Then it became the trademark of Mickey and CO. so they stuck with it.
