How do you pronounce multiplayer

I often argue with mates about this. I pronounce it multeaplayer, but others pronounce multaiplayer... BTW this is how you pronounce it not spell it

Re: How do you pronounce multiplayer

I enjoy a cup of tea with a fry up. It washes it down, y'know? :D

Mul-tea-player all the way. Unless I develop a speech impediment, in which case it might be best to not go online :(

Re: How do you pronounce multiplayer

Neither one of the above is correct. It is "Mult-ti" just like it is spelled. Not long as in "tea". Like in "ul-ti-matum"

Being Swedish, however, I bastardize it into "Mul-tey" whenever I say it.

yeh i know but saying is it pronounced multiplayer, but tea is the closest i could get with out making it the same spelling.... and yes it is shorter but u know...

Re: How do you pronounce multiplayer

I say it both ways. but when I read the title, I said it out loud befor reading the rest, and I pronounced it "ti". so thats what what I voted. It kind of depends on how fast Im saying it. slower= mul-ti-play-er faster = multeeplayer. being from utah, I tend to "swallow" my Ts. mountain= mownt-en (you can hardly hear the T).

Re: How do you pronounce multiplayer

Mult-Tai-Player. At least that's what I think I say.

Mul-Tih-Player
Meaning, none of the above...
When I talk fast (Which I usually do)
I say "Tee/Tea"
I've never met anyone who pronounces it Tai...

Mult-Tai-Player is mostly America. They have to be different though. With there "colors" and "favorites".
