How to Increase Population??

Well, since when i beat the game i onyl managed to have 1.7m in my treasury, lots of my people are dead. ATM, none of my pawn shops have owners, so i can't sell anything.

So I'm just wondering how I can increase my polulation so that my pawn shops and other stores all have owners.

I think that they may spawn over time (very slowly), but I think you better restart and try again is my opinion. GL

Also, whats the most expensive house you can buy and rent out? On my world its only 150k, i was really hoping for a house that worth like 500k+

A little over 6 mill is what i put in.

I put 2mil in, then slept for 14 days, then now my like 40% of my population is back, just in like bowerstone industrial and kinda in bowerstone market my population is really low.
