I was always an xbox kid because every computer we had was always like 5 years behind the frontlines. I always wanted to be a pc gamer because of the freedom the enjoy with their games. Console games are great but its always restricted, every option somehow costs money, and majory amazing content is usually missing.

I got a nice tower with good requirements and put my little lcd monitor (amazing just to small for tv) to good use.
Now I'm downloading TLC as a launch pad to finally bring me into the world of modding.
I can't wait. Hopefully I catch on fast, I usually develop a niche easily enough.

Ill always be a controller kid but now ill really be able to call myself a gamer lol.

Speed your ass up! D:

Still researching at the min, have patience.

Why on Earth would I want a 1971 inch long data storage card.

To make a bag out of, of course.

I've always preferred using those disks. CDs are too fragile for my liking.

Plus they burn real good :D

You're a PC gamer now. Learn your hardware. It is your very soul.

Get Speccy. Screenshot the main page. Post here.

Or he could look inside his Device Manager. ;)

Anyway, Zarkes, if you ever need any help, I'm here. I'm a huge PC Elitest. There are others here, too, who are very knowledgeable of Computers, Software, Hardware, etc. Just shoot a message or post a topic.

I'm more into PC Gaming than Console Gaming. I was brought up as a Controller kid back in the 80's, but when I got my first "gaming" computer in 1995, that's when I started playing Doom, StarCraft, etc. By 2001, I was addicted to PC Gaming and have been building, modding, and overclocking my PCs since.

The only games I've touched a console for are:

Fable TLC
Fable 2
Fable 3
Red Dead Revolver
Red Dead Redemption

Oh, and random Final Fantasies. Haha.

To find out what card you have, try this:

Click on your "Start" menu. Depending on what Operating System you have, it'll say either "Computer" or "My Computer" (I'm using Windows 7, but it should be the same for Vista). Right click on that and choose "Manage".

There should then be a list, find "System Tools" and click it. Then find "Device Manager". It should open up on the right.

Look for "Display Adapter", click on it, and the name of your Graphics Card should be listed underneath it.

Here's a Screen shot from my own, so it will hopefully help you:

Let us know when you find out, so we could suggest if you need new hardware if you plan on playing certain games.
