England played amazing today (compared to the other two games) and I THINK, if they beat Germany then they'll get far. Germany only managed a 1 - 0 win but kudos to them, it was a fantastic goal.

It's football. You play with a BALL with your FEET. Foot. Ball. A sport where you mainly use your hands should not be called football. And plus you originate from us, stick to our words or gtfo.

I don't really like Rugby either. I'm a northerner, we never do.

I must give it to you, you had sense. You used tactics as we marched out expecting a battle.

But c'mon. If you want independence, at least invent your own language. At least Australia have an excuse. It was just a dumping ground for prisoners. Wow, we were b*stards.

My friend has a weird feeling that England'll win the World Cup. He's Welsh so that opinion must matter.

I quite like the Australian accent. The Scottish one is difficult to understand if it's really strong.

Germany will be the first real quality team we are going to play and if we can play at the pace we did last night and pressure them for the ball we stand a good chance. However with Argentina the likely opponents afterwards im less confident of us winning both of them.

Rooney isn't playing as well as he could, but he did improve last match. I still reckon Germany will be the biggest obstacle until the semi-finals (if we get that far).

I played a Scottish bloke on sexbox yesterday. Imagine 'Purple Nurple' ina really Scottish accent. FTW.

Yeah the Argie's should destroy Mexico but we have seen too many surprises so far that I'd hate to really underestimate Mexico. England have only just NOW shown some team cohesion. If only they could learn how to put the ball in the net more than once. They SHOULD have scored at east 4-5 times yesterday !

Germany obliterated Australia but what do you expect when you pit a young German side against the 5th oldest side to ever compete in a World Cup?! :lol: I'm just glad Australia ended Serbia's hopes of Qualifying last night :D

England can beat Germany and they can beat Argentina but they need to get their mentality right. Use Milner and Defoe. Leaving Heskey for the end was a wise decision because lets be honest he isn't REALLY a striker is he? Joe Cole saw some pitch time and and some pretty good possession so if he is brought on earlier in the Germany game he could easily change the flow of the game to England's advantage.

And done ! :P

God, the Australian accent is so bogan though. The Scottish accent is exotic (unless you're Scottish, of course, so ignore that). I guess the grass is always greener on the other side, though.
