I sense a disturbance in the Force.

The force unleashed would be a pretty awesome story to follow, IMO.

I'd actually agree with that. I played the first game and ended up going "holy ****! I legitimately enjoyed the story that this game told me!" Whether it fits well with the rest of the Star Wars canon, I don't know, but I liked that story a HELL of a lot better than the New Jedi Order novels.

Yea, the new movie trilogy will take place after Return of the Jedi.

Whether it fits well with the rest of the Star Wars canon, I don't know

It does. I really loved the story of TFU as well, and I'd love to see a cinematic adaptation of it. Maybe the 2014 Star Wars TV series will involve elements of the story from TFU. It's set in the same time period, after all.

Let me rephrase that, "**** Star Wars canon, I don't know how well it really fits with the rest of the EU." I would also debate the question of whether "Darth Vader had a secret apprentice who rebelled and founded the rebellion" is really a believeable thing to have in the backstory. Seems like it would have come up when Luke joined. "Hey, cool dude, you're a Jedi? We had a Jedi help found this bitch! Check out this sweet-ass logo we got, it's his family crest or some ****."

I haven't seen any contradictions between the story and other aspects of the expanded universe, so I'd say it fits just fine.

Well, the easy answer is that nobody had thought about the origin of the rebellion or about Starkiller in the '70s and '80s.
