If this doesn't work...

I pre-ordered Fable 2, not thinking about the Limited Edition, and a couple months ago I got the limited edition NEW and no code, Lionhead didn't help so I went on eBay and ordered a LE code, if this guy punked me out of $80 (cheapest they had) then I'm going to go to Florida and demolish stuff (he lives there). I'll keep you all posted... I'm bored if you couldn't tell

yay congratz!! enjoy hals suit and sword and the wreckager

PRO TIP: the wreckager is in a dive spot dungen in bloodstone off the main dock

yeah I know where it is, I've been obsessing about it for months. I even bought the guide to find it. I don't see why Lionhead would do that. Next I bet you'll have to get the collectors for all the keys. That'd be some bull

The LE version of Fable II is an epic dissapointment. First they take out all the cool stuff, then they dont put the stupid cards in. The fact that they put in a download card is just stupid, they could have easily put that content on the secound disc that the LE comes with. Then when you finally get the LE content, you quickly learn that it sucks. And they amusement of "hey look, Im master chief!" quickly wears off. Lionhead sucks at fulfilling promises.....

I hate the fact that they incorporated halo stuff into Fable. It's an insult to Fable, and once I get Xbox live and the knothole island DLC, I'm going to sell hal's rifle to anybody who wants it for 1 gold as a statement of how much I hate this halo sh*t in Fable.

lol its true, i dont think there is even going to be a 3rd DLC

How is it an insult to fable? Its just a reference and has nothing to do with the story and it dosen't ruin the game. You are overeacting and you are using the thread to bitch about a bit of DLC. If don't have anything to post that has anything to do with the discussion, then SHUT UP!

Yeah!! You tell him. I LOVE the Hal's armor. I made it white so I look like a storm trooper

The Hals armour is ok, to bad the sword is so weak. The LE version of Fable 2 is garbadge if you look at what was supposed to be in it. It was gonna come in a larger, metal case, with a hobe figurine and the fate cards that Theresa gives you. Along with the Hals armour and that cutlass download. All for $80.

But instead, they stuck it in a cardboard case over the plastic one, took out the Hobe and Fate Cards, and only included the download and lowered the price to $70. All due to the fact that they had difficulties making enough Hobes and Fate Cards. First of all, they promised these things before they even knew if they could get them or not. And doesnt the fact that these things are LIMITED put the LIMITED in LIMITED EDITION?

And finally, to top it all off somebody failed to do their job and put a simple download code card in with many copies of the limited edition. So I, along with a lot of other people who bought the LE where really ticked off. I was refunded my $10 because I prepaid the $80 for it, thats how late they backed out on that deal. Then it took over a month befor I was finally able to get my promised code, only to use it and be very underwelmed with the results. "Hey, Im master cheif, how cool! Oh look, some better equiptment!" I ran around as master cheif for about..... an hour?

I'm not complaining about the Halo stuff, and I'm not complaining about Halo or Fable II. I'm complaining about broken promises, something Lionhead is unfortunatly getting quite a reputation for.

After all that, I think they should have just scraped the LE and put the Hal stuff on Xbox Live as a 200 point download. Anyway, long story short, since they took out most of the cool stuff, the LE is NOT worth it in my opinion.

I thought I was just going off of what TJ was saying, but I suppose I just misinterpreted his post. Big deal. And I guess I could have better explained it when I said it was an insult to Fable. It's an insult to Fable to me personally because I just don't like halo. But that's not the only reason I don't like hal's stuff. It doesn't fit into the Fable world, and I know it's just an easter egg, but as I've said before in another thread, they should just stick to easter eggs like the frying pan from TLC; something that is an actual item in the Fable world that is either useless but fun to have, or used in a different way that it's supposed to be used.

Sure looked like you were going off what I said. ;) I really agree with you.

To me, the Hal easter egg is too big and obvious. Halo is ok, but I think its overrated. But if they must put something like that in the game, it needs to be hidden and not advertised. Like a small Hal helmet sitting on a shelf with toys in some random house. Or like Necromancer said, something that was in Fable 1 or something funny like a modern day item thats not used for what its intended for.

Yeah... I do like the Hal's armor, some of it anyways, like the boots, helmet, pants, and gloves with a spire guard coat all dyes gory glory red with moonless secondary. it looks awesome. And as for getting it and money wise, not worth what I had to go through, but the GOTY Edition (I'd think) would include it. I don't see why they wouldn't...
