Discuss coffee. How do you drink your coffee? Instant, ground, beans? Your favourite blends? Your favorite coffee shops? Least favourite?

Right now I'm drinking Illy espresso roast but as a filter coffee for my french press, has a lovely undertaste. I'm a big fan of java coffee, particularly Taylor's Hot Lava Java. Has a very chocolatey tone and plenty of caffeine without being dark roasted to oblivion.

I find the Lavazza coffee shops to be the best ones.

I don't like Starbucks beans because they tend to roast them for far too long in just about every blend they do and it's honestly annoying. The Costa chain can be pretty good provided they're not busy, then they tend to churn out coffees as fast as they can and often burn the milk. It's okay if you're having espresso, though.

Discuss it. Right now. Because you must, and because I highly advise you to.

I just drink Cappuccino's, but I would probably drink any coffee, except espressos. I can't stand them. Its really an acquired taste. As for what Coffee shop I prefer, I don't really prefer any. Starbucks, Cafe Nero, Costa, it dosen't bother me as long as I get my Coffee.

No, actually. Never been a fan of intoxicants aside from the occasional whiskey. I am, however, a strange person.
Then that would explain things. Kinda...

Not a gourmet coffee kind of guy, the occasional Brewsters or Starbucks, but we usually get whole bean Starbucks coffee to make here, French roast or Columbian if not that I pick out a random brand to try, my favourite thus far being 8 O'clock coffee.

I drink my coffee black. The darker the blend, the better. I agree, there is something funky going on with how Starbucks handles the coffee. Caribou Coffee is much better, as far as US chains go. I have a french press and a water boiler so I'm pretty much drinking it every morning.

Unfortunately, I can't afford to explore blends or anything at this point. I need quantity. The best coffee I've found that's cheap is the Dunkin' Donuts bags. I get them at a wholesale store nearby at $20 for a 2.5 pound bag. It's a bit lighter than what I'd prefer, but it's damn good for how cheap it is.

Black, no sugar; no milk. Strong, bitter and probably very bad for my teeth. Delicious.
