Ink spill on the The Controller.

I had a minor ink spell that created these ugly marks on the back of my 360 controller, I can live with it but is there a way I can remove them?

I know this is gonna sound stupid, but try some coca-cola, then rinsing with water after about 30 seconds.

Do you think that's safe? just rinsing a 360 controller, I tried scrubbing it really hard and it didn't work.

I've actually used Coca Cola on a few things, one being a stain on my silver ps2.

Apparently it works well, just don't leave it on too long, or else it will be damn sticky.

Wow, I just randomly tested toothpaste on it and it worked. , but I'm going to have to scrub hard.
