Is it just me?

fable 4 better be good.

Forgive My scepticism, but it probably won't. Each Fable game gets worse as it goes along. They talk about making the game more accessible but all they do is dumb it down to the point where the franchise might as well put a gun to its head. I could be wrong, but in all honesty fable 4 with more than likely turn out to be an even bigger pile of ****e than the previous one. Just My opinion.

Lionhead studios managed to make the best game ever [fable TLC], but for some reason they jumped to the future with guns and crap like that. If they made a prequel, then it may be a really good game.

Yeah, no. Fable: The Lost Chapters was a good game but it was unbalanced, easy and overall just unrefined. Fable II was exactly the same and Fable III was even worse. There's absolutely no challenge in any of the Fable games, and the fact you can't even die in the 2 most recent Fable's is ridiculous. A prequel would have all the same issues as the other games, because the fact they went to the future wasn't the problem with Fable II or III - it was just bad game design in general, and the fact they've just been dumbing down their games.

Don't get me wrong, I've had a lot of fun with the Fable games but the point still stands that all of them are similarly flawed and the flaws don't lie in the time zone they're in, they lie in the fact that some bad decisions were made when the games were being created. They just flash up each game rather than fixing the issues.

Mind you I haven't had the chance to play Fable III much, just for an hour or so.
