Actually, as a New Englander, I was brought up to think that New Jerseyans are rude/angry people with short tempers and that they're terrible drivers. Apparently a bunch of them say how they hate New York yet they travel there everyday just because they want to...kind of ironic (that's what my friend said he witnessed on a subway the few times he was there)

Wow, and here I thought we had a good reputation! I have to say, the driving this is totally true. People in Jersey can't drive for sh*t ... which means I probably can't either, but I'm in denial :lol:

And when I think of "Maine" I think of Mainers who are terrible drivers. "Maniacs" as I like to call them. Similar but not the same as "Massholes" who drive very aggressively and like to use their horns. Mainers (or Maniacs) also like coming down to New Hampshire to purchase goods (such as food) due to the limited amount of taxes the state has.

I lived in Vermont for a couple years and there's nothing Vermonters like to do more than complain about "Massholes". The first time I heard someone use that term I just about died laughing!!

I think of New Hampshire as being kind of redneck, but that's because I've only been to the part up near the Canadian border that actually IS redneck. I also think the NH license plate is annoying. I guess this just proves we're all a bunch of stereotypical jerks

I've never thought about the Jersey Devil thing much, but I guess it is pretty cool. I mean, how many states have their own MONSTER?? I guess some do and I just don't know about it... hmmm, now I'm curious... any other state monsters out there???

Those guys sending you messages are probably males ranging around 5- 30 and most of them think that women are good for nothing but blowjobs and sandwhich making. Yeah, I actually think the more north you go the more country/hillbill you get. Actually, Farmington is thought to be "Redneck Central" and full of incest...but we all know that's not true >)

No, I think that is pretty spot on for the most part. The only southern part of my vocabulary is "y'all" though. Good food, eh? Not too sure about that considering the best food I could afford was a triple whopper at Burger King, haha. Ferries? Hm... I don't think we had those down there but I only lived in one area so it would be ignorant of me to assume that.

When I hear San Fransisco I think of San Diego, then Ron Burgundy. I don't think that helps much though

especially since SanFran is northern california whereas SanDan is southern. it may not seem like much of a difference to those who live in another state, let alone another country, but to a resident it is srs bsns.
