It just kind of snuck up on me. I was just going about my daily life, and BOOM! It was already June. I'm officially done with high school now. Friday was my last day, and tomorrow is my graduation ceremony. In just three short months, I'll be off to college. It's very strange to think about. It doesn't even feel like it's over yet. I suppose I have to let it sink in for a while.

So what was it like for you guys when you finished high school (or the equivalent of it for the country you live in)?

My sister graduated Friday. Kinda freaks me out that she's out of high school, she's turning 18 in less than a week.

All growed up. Of course, she's only three years younger than I am, but my mental image of her is still a nine-year-old. Eleven at most. That being said, I still feel about fourteen myself.

I just graduated.. My entire life I had teachers to fight or align...Now I have no one all myself from here on out..I have family and connections to get my life started on a good track..I'm...OLDER. I feel so intelligent and so stupid. I dont know anymore. Im gunna jump!

I'll probably end up being a super senior after next year if I don't get my act together.

I do believe congratulations are in order though.

Act like it says high school.

Was kinda "meh" moment for me. Maybe I was expecting something big, but then it never came.

I know, I know. I don't have a younger sister, but my best friend does and she's graduating now - I think she has her final exams today - but she'll always be like 16.
"What, you can buy alcohol now, a little young, no?"

It wasn't too big of a deal for me, but that was because I knew not much was going to change anyway. I went to a different school where I learnt more of the stuff I liked, but I still lived at home in my old city. I'm also still in contact with all of my friends which is great, if you think about it.

After college I thought fantastic no more homework, no more worrying about exams, no more deadlines to get work handed in by, no more egotistical lecturers. Then i started work and wished i was back in school...

I envy every single one of you here...

It's always easier what it was like, before. So Drakan, I feel for ya. And HB, what?!

it felt like a big step when i got out of high school... but then college started and i was just like "wtf same shhh....oot nicer campus. i think after my 18th birthday every 'milestone' felt pretty minor.
i'd anticipated them approaching at first, but once they arrived, my reaction was more or less "oh, so this is the next step is it? whatever" college seems like a big deal and a new step until you've been there for a week. then you wonder why it was creeping around the back of your thoughts for an entire summer or longer. looking back i kind of wish i didn't attend my high school graduation ceremony... it's not like i took it seriously enough to go sober...

don't mind me, i'm just rambling. i didn't set out trying to make such a downer post. congrats :)

Yeah I live in the states where tuition recently went through the roof for college. Most of the degrees are actually worthless too. Im deciding to go to san jose community college in California their campuses are just as good if not better over there and Ill be earning the same exact degrees. I only ever wanted to go to college for the experiance literally didnt care about anything other concerning. Now that high school is over Im kinda like done with partying.

Im leaving high school this year too but not because I made but because I failed it and I don't want to do another year of the boring stuff so next year I will be doing Chemical Labratory Engeneering I hope I said it right in english xD

Congratulations on the ones who are making it ;)
