Jack of Blades?

Re: Jack of Blades?

It's not about whether Jack is dead or not, it's about the fact that we already know Fable 3's story, and there's nothing even suggesting that Jack will be a part of it.

Re: Jack of Blades?

Alright, JoB won't be in Fable 3. That's clear. But saying JoB won't ever return, because he is dead isn't a flawless argument. That's all. ;)

Re: Jack of Blades?

Well they did say that tossing his mask in lava will destroy him completely and TLC default ending is good ending...
So I think that JoB pretty much dead and we won't see him again...
And I've checked.... KoB is dead to... so we won't seeing any member of the court in the future unless they make a prequel or something...

Re: Jack of Blades?

a prequel... And you could kickass as William Black! Only downside is, fight between Jack and Scythe apparently took days, weeks even, forming valleys and mountains. That would be pretty boring after a while. XD

Re: Jack of Blades?

That's totally true. XD But then again, maybe people will start to brag about ''unoriginallity'', because it's only fighting...
But those people will miss the point that the fighting is TOTALLY AWESOME. XD

That was actually the Queen.

Anyway, I respect your arguments, but I still think he might be involved somehow.

And saying we know the story is completelu false at this point, we know a very, very basic outline, but that's all.

Oh and something else, there's a book in Fable II, that's supposedly full of predictions, that says the world will end when the present and the past flash upon each other, IMO, another clue.

Re: Jack of Blades?

@D3m190d: Yeah... as long as you some asses to kick in a interesting way fighting never becomes boring :Đ

@Mosqueton: Yeah I heard about that book, but I don't think that we will be seeing JoB in F3...

Re: Jack of Blades?

You might find out that Logan was doing some history and came across JoB. He ended up liking him and took his costume as an inspiration, using it on his soldiers.

JoB is DEAD!
He won't return... deal with it people... plus it would suck to make a cheap thrill of 'the return of the JoB' and make story around it...
Btw... if I remember correctly, KoB is still alive so you could only expect him...

I have to agree whole hearty here. If Jack of Blades returned it would undermine the good ending of Fable I completely, I doubt Lionhead would do that.

On a less important note, are you sure the King (I'm not sure if it the 'King of Blades') is still alive? I thought it was only Jack who was still alive.

His dead... and I think that its Knight of Blades.... I've corrected my self about him being alive...

If I walk around with a sword and someone calls it a blade, do I work for Jack of Blades? That symbol never appears in Fable or Fable: TLC, so no real connection can be made between it.

Do you even read all of these comments or just the top one.. ?
I said I havent played Fable or Fable TLC o.O

Yes, but we already know exactly who the antagonist is.

But you have to remember that Logan is only in the first half of the game, PM is forever stressing that point. The second half of the game has alot of ambiguity, and we know little about what will happen in it.

Does not mean the antagonist can't be controlled by a higher power ;)

Re: Jack of Blades?

Yeah, but it is not going to be JoB...
I don't understand why some people can't that we won't be seeing JoB in F3...

Don't have to be JoB, was just implying, we don't know if their is another antagonist after Logan.

Re: Jack of Blades?

I wish. I really do, but it doesn't seem to fit. JoB wouldn't lead a country directly, he's a more "cloak and dagger" guy, working behind the scenes and pulling the strings. He wouldn't be a general, or a right-hand man as he's too power hungry to be working for someone.

I'd love to see JoB come back at one point, or even be bloody referenced.

Also, you can't be sure that JoB won't be in it. Granted, it is very unlikely, but it is only speculation.
