Re: Jack Thompson Blames Violent Games For Mass Killing
It would do more than **** some people off. You would have outright confrontations left and right. Especially were I live. You make guns illegal and red-necks and the like would start large scale protest, probably holding guns. Then when authorities try to take the guns you have a shoot out, wich brings more death. Just tacking away somthing that is so ingrained in our culture is next to impossible to do without consequence. It would have to be very, very gradual.
Like I said before, Im all for heavier restrictions. Mabey making it mandatory to have your psychi examined before you can own one, raise age requirments and the like. That would be a good start. I would also institute much heavier punishments for failure to comply with gun laws, which could act as a deterent, or mabey just make people more mad. But yeah, itll take a very long time to reverse somthing like the right to bear arms, well that is- a long time to do it safely imo.

As long as it is this easy to get guns, insane people like Chu will go on mass-slaughters like this. I doubt this was the last one.
It might sound like I really hate America or whatever, but as I said, I don't. I also don't think it is stupid as a whole, country and people. As for politics I think most countries are stupid - don't even get me started on Sweden's politics.
