KOTOR 3

The Cutscene with both Bastila and Carth is only avalible at the end of the game once enough questions are asked and answered by the Exile for the game to know Roughly the out come of the previous game. If certain things aren't in place the carth appears on his own, or not at all.

ok... I have heard rumours of this cutscene before, taking place if Revan was light side aligned, but in all the times and ways I have played it have never ever seen it and to be honest still do not entirely believe you...
people have also spoken of the fight between Atton and Darth Sion, and of Carth and Revan sacrificing themselves to destroy the star forge... these scenes even exist... but NOT in the game... these were removed from the game due to possible timeline corruptions...

have you actually SEEN such a scene within the confines of your own game? or simply read about it?

Further to add, Mission and Jolee, aren't in place as they may or may not be Dead. Nor are they needed for main part of the game. Jolee is however mentioned if you talk to the Discple, and its assumed that he's alive as he did the Rim ward missions AFTER Kotor 1 but before II. and is only mention if revan was hero i belive. He's mention to the Hand maiden as a refence to jest, when refer about her mother pulling a "BINDO" on the concil and performing procreation with Yusannis of Echani.

nope...
he's mentioned whether Revan was light or Dark side aligned... and the rimward missions mentioned took place before either game, from back in the days when he was a smuggler on the outer rim...
they're careful not to give any mention of him specificly after the time period of the first game in case according to your game's timeline he was killed by Revan

Re: KOTOR 3

Yes, I remember those-- I got very exceited when he was mentioned. But were the Rimward Missions between I and II? I always assumed they were from his adventuring days before meeting Revan.

And, I would like to point out that Wookiepedia has the same inherent vulnerabilities as Wikipedia.

Edit: Ooops. Hex beat me.

And Hex, I would like to point out that even if he didn't actually see this cutscene I did, or I believe I did. I merely bowed to your avowedly superior knowledge of the game, and allowed doubts to enter my mind. (See-- I can admit that others know more than I. Really, I can!)

Obsidian Working On Next-gen KOTR 3?
According to various reports, Obsidian Entertainment - developing house of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords - is currently working on an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game. Although the actual title hasn't been revealed, chances are at least reasonable that it's the third Star Wars game in the Knights of the Old Republic series, currently labeled KOTR 3. We'll keep you updated if Obsidian makes any official comments.
as seen it already "

Re: KOTOR 3

I hope Some of the comic charaters appear in it. Perhaps HK-24, or Zayne, Or any of them as well as the KotOR 1 & 2 characters.

Re: KOTOR 3

i wish they would add some new stuff like get some ideas from fable i wish u could own ur own house have a gang or something have some spaceships be the "bossman" become the leader of the jedi or become the sith lord and train ur very own sith that would b cool

if most game developers got ideas from fable then everygame would kick @$$

No... then every game would be just like Fable... if I wanted to play Fable I would play Fable, and if I want to play KotOR I'll play KotOR...
every game doesn't have to be the same as every other... there are many things, such as the moral choices which were severely lacking in Fable but which mostly made the game for me with KotOR, not to mention the storyline...
if you love Fable that's fine, but there's no reason to go trying to make every single game into more Fable...

Re: KOTOR 3

no u misunderstood me ... i simply meant well i guess i dont know how to xplain it but dont make it just like fable they just need to add some things

I don't think they need to add anything, beyond updating the game to next gen...
things like owning property really do fit better in a game like Fable... it's part of what makes Fable, Fable...
KotOR isn't about free roaming like Fable, it's more about free choice...
you can travel about a lot, and choose which direction you travel, but it is not nearly so open physically as Fable... it wouldn't make sense for you to go owning property, at least to me... it's not that kind of RPG...

i shouldnt b in this thread >.<

why not? you were just stating your opinion...
it's just that you yourself have said that you never finished either KotOR, or KotOR II, so perhaps if you did you would get a better understanding of what makes KotOR and Fable different and why most Fable ideas wouldn't work with KotOR...
but maybe you wouldn't... I'm just one person... maybe you'd think it should be more like Fable than ever
I'm just very passionate about KotOR and feel compelled to respond when people discuss altering it and it's exalted majesty

Re: KOTOR 3

Eh... I don't think KOTOR is as perfect as Hex does, but I don't want any ownership beyond the Ebon Hawk/another spacecraft. It really doesn't fit that well. On the other hand, more customization of the Hawk or another ship would be cool, but I'm not exactly sure how that'd work.

The "run the Sith or Jedi or a gang" idea I dislike. It really doesn't fit with the general "you and your little group of friends against most of the rest of the Galaxy" premise of the first two. I like leading my nine little compatriots just fine.

On the other hand, it would be cool if 3 was somehow a crossover between 1 and 2. Maybe Revan and his/her group could fight alongside or against the Exile and his/her group. In that case it'd be really cool to see what HK-47 and
Mandalore
do, assuming HK wasn't memory-wiped (I'm assuming T3 was wiped). Same thing with many of the others, but only T3, HK, and
Mandalore
fought with both Revan and the Exile.
Unless you count Kreia as having fought with Revan, of course, for the way she says she trained him.
That would give you some of what you want with a wider base of people to lead.

Yeah, I exaggerated a bit, but "exalted majesty"? C'mon, Tolkien barely deserves that, let alone a videogame.

that's your opinion, and I am entitled to mine...

but exalted majesty or not, I also said that it could stand to be updated to next gen standards... I do not think it is perfect... I don't believe anything ever can be... but it is the greatest video game I have ever played in my entire life, and it is my favourite game of all time...

Hmmm... I can't tell if I've aggravated you or not. Anyway, I'll stop trying to be funny and trying to screw with your head.

you haven't aggravated me... but that's probably wise either way... seeing as how this is a forum, a venue for sharing our ideas and opinions... not for "screwing with people's heads"...
