I love cheating. Makes me happy - I'll cheat at anything, to be honest. I don't even play fair when I'm with my kid :lol:

I'll be honest - I tried this particular option out just to see if it would work - then remembered I only had one property rented out so got a grand total of about 13,000 :lol:

Still, it was fun to see it work and I just used the money to gamble (and lose) anyway, so Fable is quids in really :lol:

Are you kidding me? Exploiting a flawed game mechanic to do something other than what it's intended to do is cheating whether you like it or not. Just like the Pub games exploit.

I honestly don't care whether someone has cheated or not, but denial is never good.

It's not cheating, it's exploiting a feature of the game that probably should not of been there to begin with because it has such a easy way to exploit.

The only time i cheated in the game was to get 'The Bigamist' Achievement. ok, it was several times, with cheap $10 hookers, which i paid good honest hard earned money for.

but the clock thing, it's definitely cheating!!! you didn't earn that money by working!!!! you didn't make that money by investing in property!!! you didn't sell anything!!! it's not your money you cheating mutherfrackers. GIVE IT BACK, NOW, or i'm telling Mr Moleneux!!! J/K :p

Its cheating. Deal with being a cheater, seriously.. Not that I see why it matters in a single player game. People should do whatever they want. Personally I would rather play the game.

My lady hero is poor, and I have finished the arena. I am waiting before I go to prison again. Second play through. Trying to do sidequest. I don't have time to make money. :P I only get to 2 or 3 level n the jobs. Don't have the patience for that. I'd rather fish. Miss that.:(

I will freely admit, I use this exploit as I am a rather impatient person. Does anyone know the money limit you can have?

Of course, in the eyes of the person cheating, it is exploitation, not cheating. Yet it is CHEATING, and enjoy the game, it is supposed to be somewhat hard, and fun. By EARNING the money yourself. What has happened to people, can people even have fun without cheating anymore? No, you have to have it now, right? I am an impatient person too, but no, I don't cheat. Oh well, you guys are just flat out pathetic, cheating for easily earned money. This deserves a major FAIL award.

Please re-read what I typed as I did not say that what I do is not cheating. You made the assumption that I was denying that I cheat in the game in that aspect which I did not like others before me did. It is unfortunate that you must insult people, as a moderator no less, who are in no way harming you or anyone else in the method they play their game. If what they did affected others somehow it would be wrong of course, but if they cheat in which it in no way affects others, why be so angry at the person for what they do with their own game?

Ah, but you're wrong. It does hurt everyone, even yourself. Inflation is baaaad, mmmkay? When you create amass a lot of gold like this, you're making your own gold (and everyone elses) worthless.

If nobody cheated like this, a couple of millions of gold would be a lot of money you could get someone's Hero Doll or Legendary Weapon for. But now that everyone has it, who wants more? You're making it all worthless.

Personally I'd never trade anything for gold - only items for items, because their value remains uncorrupted.

Note that my statement addresses the problem you propose. Naturally if you are using money gained from cheating to buy legendary weapons, dolls, etc, your cheating affects others and therefore is wrong of course.

i get money different from everyone else it seems. i went thru the first time poor and found out a brilliant way or making money at the end. I started again and i owned all of albion since the beginning. i had a million gold and hadn't even gotten to the spire. my job gold is 804. all you've gotta do is buy weapons and sell to the traveling traders in fairfax gardens. better if u get em on sale or own the store. i think my gold earned is like 6 million and the amount spent is like 5.5 million. i dont need to cheat. haha. i got so much income and nuthin to spend the gold on i dont even trade anymore. its so nice not having to work.

Though, it doesnt make the game easier.
