without the white border the top one is about the right size. the bottom one is ok too, but combined they make your sig to large. putting one in a spoiler tag would make it better.

As my own personal rule I say that on this site your sig should not strech the page and should be no taller than the left side of you post with your avatar, info, and gamercard. so if you were to make a post that was one line it is not bigger than all your info. even then one single image that large is annoying.

Exactly i was really annoyed when i saw someone that had a very large sig that streched the page and i wasn't that much happy.
I think mine is okay size it's not large but a bit too long i find myself. If you think mine should be less long just shout! (i'm going to xfire to see if there is a smaller sig thng )

I think short and wide is the best.
