Fable II was slightly more difficult than the original Fable but even PM stated that these games were designed with casuals in mind.

I think Fable II was far easier than the original. But I guess it depends on your play style and stuff...

I've played a pure Will user in both. It was easy in Fable: The Lost Chapters because all I needed was Physical Shield. I could easily earn enough gold to buy up plenty of mana potions so it would never run out.

In Fable II you don't get a Physical Shield spell. The Raise Dead spell does help keep the enemies distracted though... well, sometimes anyways.
