and yes being a woodsman is a job, and so is being a theif or and assassin. but a woodsman is more............... woodsy. i guess. i dont know what exactly you do, but PM mentioned it amung jobs you can do to earn money. i assume it involes going out and doing stuff and would be more entertaining than a blacksmith. but blacksmithing would be more useful in my opinion, cuz i think if you get good enough you can make your own weapons. but i think you can also take multiple jobs.

Ah ok! Thanks for clearing that up, I had been wondering how the points were calculated.

A woodsman sounds cool. I think I'm gonna be a ranger type character (ie focusing on skill) my first playthrough and a woodsman sounds like a very well suited job! :D

Good to hear that the new Fable II Pub Games patch is on the way. I wouldn't have used the exploit myself as I think it would take away from the Fable II experience if I was just insanely rich from the offset. I'd rather start off as a poor tramp and earn my money the good old fashioned way: stealing it from friends over Xbox LIVE. :P

I used the glitch to help me enter tournaments and such. I don't really care about making money for the game right now anyways. I'll probably just merge my character for the items I've won so far.

edit: also, working isnt the only way to gain money. you can also rob people, steal from shops, be a woodsman, or even a pro assassin, as opposed to a blacksmith or carpender.

I AM GOING TO BE AN ASSASSIN!! And I've already gotten enough to start the game with about like 80k and all the items :D

my friend got rid of te oblivion patch on his xbox so maybeit will be the same with this one 2 ;)

hi i was just wondering because i didnt understand what was gonna to happen in the patch.

so when the patch is coming we all will be reset so we will have no money or items that u have won????

I don't think so. We probably just won't be able to use the glitch anymore. I could be wrong, but I haven't heard anything to suggest we'll lose everything. That seems like it would be a little silly considering not everyone used it.

I honestly don't find the games that hard but ill still use the glitch just enough to buy the savage items.

From what i was reading earlier it would prevent people from using the glitch and also discredit any money you 'acquired' with the glitch.

But how would they know which money was won with the glitch?
I just think the patch will get rid of the glitch, nothing more.

I just read some comments that people had been saying around some communities.

They may be able to check what points someone has and compare that to the amount of gold. If the ratio is of an unreasonable ratio then it would be obvious that they were using the glitch.

I'm not particularly fussed how they fix the glitch, To be honest i've cheated and accumulated almost $2,000,000 and all the items. However I intended to play through without merging once and then play through again with my superpowered rich character. If they just take the glitch and not my money i'll continue with this plan, if they take my glitched money then i'll merge right away for the items :)

Ya i earned about 150,000 legit since i got it about a 4 or 5 days ago and got all the items and it wasnt easy and my friend showed me this cheat and got 500,000 in an hour. i think itll seriously ruin the game but i can guarantee so many ppl have already got rich
