That would actually be a really cool guard outfit, I wasnt too fond of the Fable 2 one. It was too hard to distinguish between normal guards and super guards.

Welley was a knockoff of the Duke of Wellington. The guy who commanded the army that wore the uniforms.
The uniforms are just a general Napoleonic-era uniform style. Hence, yes, the Cap'n's uniform should be of similar derivation.

I've had a brainwave, people! A psychic premonition direct from the All-Powerful Oz!
The Captain is the estranged son of Reaver, and the world's most badass rifleman. After years of oppressing people with different-colored skin and funny-shaped eyes living in far-off countries (in true 17th-century British fashion (and yes, I know, they weren't the only ones)) he has returned to take down his corrupt industrialist-pirate-asshole father and his puppet-king Logan.
Because, really, I want Reaver to be F3's Big Bad.

Reaver's son. Never thought of that. Sounds epic, it would be more epic if he stole his father's Dragon Stomper and gave it to us.
