Man Kills Kitten for Unplugging Game Console

A Virginia man faces charges of misdemeanor animal cruelty and disorderly conduct after allegedly hurling his girlfriend's kitten against the wall after it disconnected the video game he was playing.

Staunton, Virginia authorities were called to the apartment of 21-year-old Bruce Jamar Walston by his girlfriend around 9pm last night. The woman called 911 after Walston, angered that the video game he was playing was disconnected by his girlfriend's new kitten, allegedly picked up the animal and threw it against the wall, killing it.

According to authorities, the incident occurred in front of the woman's children.

Walston is being held without bond at the Middle River Regional Jail in Verona. Prior to this incident he was out on bond in relation to a January breaking and entering charge.

Got to look at the bigger picture in instances like this. I mean what if instead of a kitten it was a small child that had done this? Or what happens if he gets 'really' annoyed by someone...?

Based on Virginia laws, he could possibly receive 2 years in prison for what he's done. I'd have him tossed into a mental institution before tossing him back into society. Like you said, what if he had went mental on someone for ****ing him off over something so little? He's already been charged with breaking & entering prior to all this.

That's horrible. I mean, not the cat, I hate cats, they are painful and boring. but yes, what if he had done that to a dog, or even worse, a baby human. I want to see him try to do that with a cow, that would be a hilarous youtube video:

I don't understand why people dislike cats. They give you all the love and attention dogs do and they don't smell or require stupid amounts of care.

Cats are much better than dogs. So loving and affectionate. Although my cat is far too trusting. She'll actually fall into my arms from about my head height and not even try to land on her feet. Scares me sometimes.

And all you do is feed 'em and clean ther litter box. That is it. And the occasional vomit.

Not to mention all the scratches and wasted breadloafs and not coming when you call them, plus any other thing you leave on the counter being scratched up and ****ed on, the fact that their **** really smells if they miss the litter box. Yeah, great animal. I've had 5 of those f*ckers just to give them a fair chance and they were all the same. Dogs don't do that, unless they are neglected and treated and trained horribly.

- Cats don't use litter boxes. Kittens do.
- Get a scratch post.
- Cats can be trained too. My cat sh*ts at least 100 yards from my house.

You should have done some research before buying five cats.

Meh, It just so much easier to train dogs, and I like animals that can go get my paper in the morning, that only took me 5 days to do, try to teach a cat to go fetch a toy, even sometimes with catnip, you might as well lock yourself in with the cat and set the date of opening to a month or more later. dogs are also bigger, and funner to play with. You can't ride your harley with a cat on the back, you would look like a pu$$y.

two of my cats were afraid of the scratch post, one of them only used it halfr the time, the others stayed perched on it all day, and would never come off... How is that fun?

He deserves to be tortured and killed. The torture is the punishment, and death is just because he is a plague on society and the world would be a better place without him.

And about the cat VS dog debate, if you're a cat person, you've just gotten lucky. Sure, there are some cool cats out there, but the majority only care about people for their food. I've met many cats and many dogs, and only two of the cats I've met have been loving and affectionate. The rest wouldn't give two sh*ts about a human that didn't feed it. I've never even met one dog like that. Every dog I've encountered wants nothing more than company. They all love people.
