you can't... as far as I know that feature isn't used... it's just there... that's why if you check people's profiles nobody is a member of any groups

Member groups have never been used on any forums ive owned or been a part of but are only used to separate normal users from others in a debate and group discussion to my knowledge. Also to allow certain groups access to different sections of a forum such as on clan boards.

On one of my 'main' forums they are for Rping I remain special by being neutral by not joining a group lol
