So I went onto the dashboard to get the Fable 2 Add Ons and saw that Knothole Island is 800 and See The Future is 540, now I do have the money to go out and get some points but my question is, why do we have to pay for EVERYTHiNG on xbox? Some arcade games are like 1200 points, almost all map packs are 800 and to change your name is 800, we already pay like $20 for 3 months of live, why does Microsoft have to be so greedy and make us pay for freaking everything?

Paying for Map Packs and DLC doesnt go to Microsoft as such, they get a cut but most the money goes to the developers of the content. I dont think its right you have to pay for themes, avatars, avatar clothing or name changes though. Arcade Games fees go to developers also, we pay the fees for Live to have the best support we can get and for the most part its pretty good. They always notify us of downtime and are routinely doing maintenance and doing their best to protect details from fraud etc.

I'd rather pay that monthly rate than play PS3 online. Very little support, you can't report people, and many other various problems. I just wish they also implemented buying things straight from a credit card instead of buying the MSP first. It would make everything easier, and I wouldn't have any damn MSP leftover. What am I going to do with 100 MSP? I'm not buying sany gamerpics. I use them free ones, I do! Hyuk hyuk.

But yeah, Microsoft is just a bunch of money hungry jerks, just like every other major company.
