Modders are NOT Moderators

Due to many members being confused by this i thought i better make a thread about it. The people in the Modder list with this badge

are NOT Moderators, they are people who create/edit Mods for the game etc and its a self appointed position for those interested.To make the point clear, they are NOT Super Moderators or Moderators of the forums and therefore not a direct member of staff. The Super Moderators have this badge.

Thought this might save a little confusion so people dont get the two mixed up again.

I haven't seen anyone get mixed up in a while actually.

I didn't realise it was self-appointed actually.

It's been ages since i tried any type of moddin for TLC, i don't even own it anymore lolz. mite aswell take up the title :P

I almost posted some failure of a joke referring to my diet consisting of other Fable Modders.

That way I would be a Modder-Eater.

^I jsut found out how to add that bar... I feel liek such a noob, anyway I took the bar so I can feel special in my own little way... I have never modded Fable and won't for a while, but I am a modder of my world, I warp reality to my will...

In your Profile options, under "Networking" there is a button called "Group Memberships." it is right under "Social Groups" use that too add/remove bars.

Because the modders who simply add themselves to the group don't have the Modder group as their default usergroup in the Admin CP, hence their name isn't changed in colour, and people think coloured usernames mean extra powers, and when someone sees "mod" in a name, they assume we're moderators.

I was made a modder by Drakan, who obviously changed my default usergroup to modder so my name appears bold and purple.

In which case, I'm a moderator and I will ban you if you don't rep me.

Maybe this only works for adding userbars, as it certainly doesn't give me the option to remove mine.
