More severe choices?

I'd rather like to see more severe choices in Fable 3, like the one with the shadow council with the girl and you. I believe the choices in fable 2 were rather pathetic =/ I mean honestly you get 10+ good points just for running off while some guy marries a dead chick he raised up. (Lady gray and the grave keeper)

Idk im just hoping they add more choices that involve death, pain on someone, and over all you making the last minute decision that REALLY shapes your character into what you want him to be.

(Wow that sounded really cynical)

Re: More severe choices?

i agree. lets make some life changing decisions here!

Re: More severe choices?

It does sound pretty interesting :) Hopefully the king/queen thing will make it a bit more "interactive" when it comes to good and evil.

Re: More severe choices?

thats why PM made fable 3, those are what the choices are about. You must CHOOSe the promises you make to the people, they must be the right choices so you can rise to throne. You must CHOOSE the fate of aurora, the fate of another country. Maybe its like aurora is a place for trading goods and resources. So their will be a lot more choices. I just miss oldschool fble and i hope thy go backwards if they make a fable 4 instead of fastforwarding another 50 years.

Re: More severe choices?

I hope they return with the creation of hero's, im rather interested in how the blood line began.

Re: More severe choices?

yeah, killing about 10 ppl can be rectified buy giving your wife a diamond and a bum 5k :\

Re: More severe choices?

Yeah, like in Dragon Age.

Re: More severe choices?

i juss seen the gameplay and **** i was like DAAMMNNNNN this game gunna be tigghhtttt

Re: More severe choices?

I agree, for a game thats tagline was 'For every choice a consequence' the choices were really weak and didnt effect much besides how you looked and if people screamed at you or loved you. They need to add some real moral choices that tug on your conscience and that arent black and white good and bad choices. Need to take a leaf out of Biowares book and get some inspiration from some choices you have to make in their games.

Re: More severe choices?

I'd like a small evil leads to a greater good choice

Re: More severe choices?

I agree with this completely.

I know you could change the look of Old Town at the start but there weren't any major decisions. Since you're going to end up being King/Queen, the choices will probably affect everything.

Ya that rather annoyed me =/ Being able to rampage my way through the towns then going to bowerstone town to help the beggar or just pay my fine.
Be interesting if they added jail time as a side quest, or that when you acually gift someone that their lives improve.

Hopefully with this King/Queen thing will have more control over everyone lives rather then us being just another hero to make their life better.

That acually seems kind of interesting, being to take a evil deed for it to lead up to something better for the people.

Re: More severe choices?

I want to see the choice of having to burn my face with acid (in real life) or having to manipulate the world's governments, eventually initiating a world war from which no one will survive (also in real life), just in order to play they game.

Re: More severe choices?

Well arse i have some batteries that i can crack open for you, that or we can **** off all the countries enough

I'd love to see a Fable game that takes place at the same time as the fall of the Guild.

Re: More severe choices?

I'd like to be able to rectify past evil choices. For example, being able to turn Bowerstone Old Town back into a nice community later in the game if you turn it into a slum in the beginning.

Re: More severe choices?

Two things.... Don't double post. There's an edit button.

And, this thread is a bit old. Checkyerdates.org.

Re: More severe choices?

Old or not, it is an interesting discussion.

And choices in Fallout 3 are better. Lionhead needs to step up the choices another notch.

Re: More severe choices?

I think Fable III ought to be Steampunk, that way you could have some choices over factories, shutting them down, or keeping them running. I guess that keeping them going would be a evil-ish choice.
