Yeah it seemed more of a time based thing than dialoge based.

that was one of the things that made me love the KotOR games, the fact that all sorts of seemingly minute decisions would have an impact on how the story played out... which is really fitting with the whole feel behind Fable...
I would love if they were to set it up that way, as it makes for more immersive gameplay with a much stronger connection to the characters...
however, the styles of KotOR and Fable are strikingly different, so I wouldn't count on such a system being implemented, or at least not in the same fashion... for one thing dialogue between characters was considerably less important in Fable... that would need to change to allow for that level of variation...
