fable 2 wishlist/idea
class like- it would be awesome if classes had there own ability, like an archer should be able to climb trees n scope people out, n like a mage should do mage stuff! lol
I don't like the idea of a class system, I liked how in fable you were free to upgrade skills without having to worry about them upgrading slower or some crap like that because you're not in the skills class. However, if fable 2 does have a class system, I'd like it to have a number of pre-set classes to choose from as well as the ability to make your own class (like in elder scrolls IV: oblivion)
Anyways, here's my wishlist for fable 2:
More quests for the story line, new clothes, new weapons etc. - Most of this is self-explainitory.
Ability to swim - You could swim undrwater and find some pearls, or have some water specific enemys. Like giant squid or merpeople. Maybe an underwater city. (Also eithier have the hero breath underwater or have a breath underwater spell.)
Destroying entire buildings/villages - What was odd in fable was that if you wanted to take out an entire village, the most you could do was kill everyone and have a bunch of empty houses and pubs all over the place. Now that fable 2 is using havok, building destruction could be really nice. Maybe since there are going to be muskets you could fill a house with gunpowder barells or someodd and then light it by shooting it.
More in-depth character creation - Every hero shouldnt look exactly the same, you should be able to customize their face/hair color/skin color from the start, (like oblivion)
Since their are early fire arms, there should be a really crazy gun for a secret weapon. Like a machine gun or a rocket launcher.
your kids should age as well, maybe even go on to join the hero's guild and become a famous hero or villian, depending on your ailignment.
I want more of a ''feel'' to towns, in fable 1 everytown felt the same, it was just different buildings and people. With fable 2, if a town has a reputation for being full of evil people when i march in there I want it to feel evil. Like long shadows, dark alleys, shady dealers and even shadier people, dark pubs etc. And for towns that are more inclined twoards good people should greet you happily on the street, pubs would be well lit and clean. This leading to something else I want to see, village alignment, Towns should be inherently good, neautral, or evil. Each with its own look and feel. And if the town is evil, when good heros walk in we should hear the villagers curse at us out loud or even under their breath, (for example ''Get the hell out of here guild-puppet !'' shouted by a pub owner, or ''filthy little do-gooder..'' whispered by villagers as we walk by.) This being vice-cersa for evil characters, who are welcomed with open arms in evil towns, and scorned in good towns. Neautral towns obviously, dont care about your alignment.
thats it for now.
