A great man who had one of the most recognisable quotes in history died at the age of 82 yesterday. I figured a man of such valour deserved a thread in remembrance. If you're one of those people that believe the whole "moon landing was a hoax" thing, regardless, you still gotta admit he was a pretty cool guy.

Heh, didn't he mess up that quote too?

Two Armstrong losses this week, damn. I don't believe the landing was a hoax though and I'm surprised so many people still do to this day. RIP you awesome moon man.

Heh, didn't he mess up that quote too?

One small step or [a] man; one giant leap for mankind. He either forgot the a or the broadcast never picked it up. Sadly, either way the quote is a huge contradiction of itself, but knowing what was it was meant to say and meant to mean - it's still a bloody good quote.

Hey there are people out there who still believe the moon itself is a hoax.

I've heard people say it's not really made of cheese. Which is ridiculous, of course it is!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that British man and his dog went up there after those astronaut guys and proved it once and for all.

What a good dude!
I just dont understand why you'd want to fake such a huge part of history..

Too much writing, lack of interest in topic and small brain = Cant be bothered reading..

I'm sad now. :'(

This great historical figure has left us behind on our tiny planet..... again. :troll:

I've heard people say it's not really made of cheese. Which is ridiculous, of course it is!
Seconded.

Landing on the moon is I and many others consider to be the crowning achievement of the entire spiecies. For at the very least the 20th century anyway. Those who believe it was a hoax are just dumbasses with a profound misunderstanding of the science behind it.

Farewell Neil. You will be greatly missed, but you will never be forgotten.

The guy that was with Neil Armstrong must be pretty mad right now.

Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins probably miss him more than the rest of us.

A copy editor somewhere has been fired in the last 48 hours...
