What about when you do the roll maneuver
Block + move
that you can knock people down and possibly stun them

They should stay away from Martial Arts, i wouldnt mind some sneaking up and snapping necks and stuff like that you know nothing to fancy. just good slugging

I've always wondered if it would make a difference in a bar fight if you were too drunk to know what you were doing... Nonetheless, more fighting styles, and as dDuecy puts it, more "slugging" would be a welcome feature in the Fable universe. Bring on the fighting!

yea and you could have random fights while drunken fighting the gaurds and then run out of the area like a wussy but then again youd be drunk so you would do somethin like that

I like the drunk fighting idea. I picture trying to hit someone and missing and hitting someone else and then the whole place ends up in a massive brawl!!

Ya i agree that a cool new fighting style would be cool, but what im hering you say is you want it to be more of a fighting style game. Fable is an RPG not a fighting game. But like I said neww moves would be cool expecioly the assasin moves.​

I have also wondered wether or not aging and drinking will effect combat in any way. It's odd in Fable 1 that my character at one time was a 60 year-old drunk man cavorting about slaying monsters and questing. Something I believe as a general rule for rpgs is that logic is not as important as the quality of the experience the game gives you.

I agree on that. What I mean is certain limitations that add realism, but often take away from the game, such as TES oblivion's bizzare usage of encumberance. In Fable uno, you could carry over 50 pies, 15 weapons, one hundred plus potions, tons of armor and clothes, many keys and countless other items. It just makes a good game, though it may not seem true to life. Drunken barfights would keep me entertained for hours on end.

It looks like you're lumbering more when you have heavier armor on I agree with that.

There is a definate difference in the type of sword you can weild based on your strength.

While this is obviously a great idea, I think the problem with it is the context. Especially with the techniques and styles. From my perspective it's not really suitable to use a style like Karate, ninjutsu, or whatever. Okay, you could just change the name, but that's kinda cheap, IMO. It needs to be explained. Some form of background needs to be created... and even this is sometimes quite impossible as the styles are so culture based.

I just hope we're not gonna see another "Katana" in F2. At least if it looks like it id. A bleeping sacrilege.

The first Fable had a lot of things that weren't true to the genre. I think they did a good job blending in the anachronistic elements. I have a feeling that Fable 2 will do the same.

Yeah, I agree with that if it looks like a katana and works like a katana.

Staffs are a must for Fable2. I wanna see my character walking around with a "walking stick" (140cm, it's gotta be specific you know)...
