New Forum Bug Report

As its been mentioned before, the "like" function does not work. Also there doesn't seem to be a way of editing what it says benieth your name, at least I can't find it anyway.

Having an annoying issue at the moment as when you input your own quote tags the post seems to add more in weird places soon as its posted.

I do the usual [quote][/quote] but it seems to add other tags in middle of the quoted text normally for bullet point lists so the first point is always put in a separate quote. Like THIS and no matter how many times i remove the extra quote tags that are causing this they reappear again in same place.

One thing that's been bothering me since the conversion is the Alerts button at the top.

When you click one of the alerts listed, it unexpectedly brings you to a page which doesn't exist.

Also, I expected the list to close when I click the button again while the list is open (As this is what happens on Facebook) but it instead brings me to the full list of alerts.

It just took me several attempts to logging on. I typed in my name and password, failed to get on several times. Then I closed IE, opened it again, and it logged on fine.

It's done a similar thing before, though last time I think I just kept trying and it evntually worked.

I checked my own Personal Settings and Hayduke is right - the option to change your 'custom title' isn't there.

Might be disabled as default currently i shall take a look.

EDIT* How about now?
it's there for me now.

another question... transparent images seem to have trouble as avatars. i've tried two of them now. on vBulletin they would appear smooth, but here the outside of the image where it goes transparent gets rather bold and clunky looking.
(you can see what it looks like on DMC.org, there's a definite difference). is there a setting you can change or a code you can tweak for that, or is it something that the developers have to do on their own?

Does it work ok?
yep, not only is it visible but it updated instantaneously.

I actually hate this font, and the font choices aren't working as well as color and size...I'm sure someone already said this though :/

Anyway, so the whole "Microsoft Word" system in the replies don't work. If you misspell a word, the red squiggle goes underneath the word. However, if you keep typing, it goes away...which I tend to try to spell things correctly...did someone already mention this?

I don't believe this to be my browser (Firefox) because I thought it usually stayed red-underlined.

I quite like the new font but didnt like the old one. I can change colour and size and font though if thats what you meant. My spell checker works too but i installed a plugin for Firefox as mine.

Oh, hey...it worked...see, this is what I'd want...just all the time without having to fix it every time...it's really not a big deal either way...thanks :)

It seems to reset itself if you click...anything...too many times, though :/

on my schools desktops (run internet explorer... don't know version as 90% of user options are disabled) there's a problem with displaying posts. signatures appear just fine, where they should. but there's some oddness going on in the left hand column where username, title, avatar, join date, etc are located. they sometimes match up with the appropriate post, but every page i open up half of them are placed oddly, making the thread damn near impossible to read if you don't read the time stamps or know peoples signatures.

Trying to "reply" to multiple post only works on one page...it disappears when you go to the next page. I've cut and pasted the "replies" on the pages, but it's all inconvenient. :/

This isn't really a "bug" but it does bug me in some threads. If you go, for instance, to this thread, and notice the page-navigation (being, the page number one is at (found at the bottom or top)), you'll see that the devs of XF didn't take big page-numbers into account. So basically, the text overlaps the "background" area.

Should be able to fix this by locating the PageNav anchor currentpage class (.PageNav a.currentPage) in the style manager and add a 'width:auto;' to the class/css.
