Known as Halo Wars and it is a real-time strategy game (as Halo was originally designed as).

Microsoft announced Halo Wars, a real-time strategy title from developer Ensemble Studios (Age of Empires) in the Halo universe is being created and that Ensemble is creating the title exclusively for the Xbox 360.

Halo Wars will put players in command of the human UNSC forces in their first encounter against the alien Covenant, with multiple factions (humans, Covenant, Flood) clashing it should make for an interesting game.

Hmm..

That game sounds like it would be awful. I just keep imagining a bunch of little master chiefs being created and then driving off in little warthogs..

But then again...

If there are space fights. hmmm..

Can't really decide whether it will be good or not now I've thought about it. If done right and not just as a rushed cash in hopefully this will be a decent game.

Hmm most RTS games are multiplayer so i wonder aswel to be honest.

Also, like in Warcraft III, would it have hero units? Because to be honest, look how much butt Master Chief kicks in Halo. Shouldn't he be a very powerful unit then?

dude, in the halo books, there are like 30 spartans, they trained like 75, then did all the agumentatoin crap (like grafting metal and shiz to their bones, and all that wierd stuff) and like a bunch died. but seriously, when it starts off in halo 1, like JUST before that, there were 25 some spartans, but as far as we know, they all died when reach got destroyed (you'll hear them make reference to reachseveral times during the games)

I've only read "Halo: The Flood"

and there was only one....................(mastercheif)
