New Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Gameplay

There are good news days, and there are bad news days. Today is one of the good days.
Not only did we have the absolute pleasure of seeing the latest Ballad of Gay Tony trailer, but we can now bring you 2 minutes of HD Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer footage.

Not only do you get to see a crap load of action during a flag runner game, the best blood splatter effect we've ever seen, but at the end you'll see the new host migration in action - it's quick! - before Robert Bowling gets a throwing knife lodged in his skull. As if we couldn't get any more excited!

this looks really cool...but i have to say, i really didn't like the blood spatter effects...i liked them more from cod 4.

Blood splatter was EPIC and the knife throw was EPIC. Looks BEAST. But I am a campiagn fan, even if MP is EPIC I will be ****ed if Campaign sucks.

I think this looks a bit like Rainbow Six to be honest, I'm not sure that it will top CoD4 although I hope it does. I also prefer the blood spatter from CoD4, the MW2 one looks like someone sprayed cherryade all over your face. The liquid looks too thin in my opinion.

Oh my.... that looks amazing.... :O love how fast the host migration is, its running silky smooth and that knife throw was great. Cant wait for this game.

It does look like Cherryade, but it still is cool imo... The guns look spectacular and the muzzle flash looks neater... The knife throw really impressed me, I am assumign that will be a secondary grenade or a "perk 1" option.

Pure awesome. I love the sheild and knife throw. And it comes out just a few days befor my birthday.

The guy playing it was insanely skilled.

Or he was very good at sticking to the line. In otherwords it was re-acted. Wel i don't know but i assume that. though i have to say the knife throwing i wicked as hell.

When it first comes out, I bet everyone is going to be throwing knifes like crazy just because they can. I know I will.

There will always be a way to counter it as Infinity Ward have always been good at balancing games.
