Might not be such a good idea Angel - would leave you alone with the doggy. And I fear only one of you might live through that night, from what you've told me. :ninja:

Re: New website ideas.

Ah, but the dog doesn't sleep in our room - so I won't have to worry about that...

Don't say I didn't warn you.

*Thinks of Angel sleeping in bed when suddenly the door slowly opens and the "Jaws Theme" begins to play as a dog tail slowly wags in the air by the foot end of the bed, creeping along the side of the bed, getting closer and closer to Angel..."

I would actually like to see a sight that was dedicated to the expansion of new game ideas. This idea is just that, an idea. There would be a lot of moving parts to consider. First of all endorsements from a few game companies that are looking for fresh ideas, I can’t stress enough how important a good relationship with these companies would be to the concept. Secondly you would need to build the site with a way to track time date stamps on ideas that your forum readers are going to propose and listen to. Also during the signup for a forum member there will need to be general information about copyright laws available.

Now the site would be intended to draw bright minds with good concepts into an area where they can have one on one contact with the companies looking for bright minds using the site as a mediator. I believe that there is much raw unutilized talent in the world and this would be one step closer to helping those bright people attain their goals and helping the companies produce greater games for the entire entertainment industry.

Before you start thinking that this would be some type of good will site lets talk about profits. Writers and companies would both be willing to shell out a decent amount of money for a site that could provide idea security and contract bargaining without the use of expensive lawyers. This would also mean that you would have to hire on consultants that know copy write and contract law, but with a good crew and the contacts that you have already made through your other web sites this would truly be your only missing element. Hope this helps.

Interesting idea it could be innovativegamming.com <-- available

It could aslo be a part of twigamming <-- shameless self promotion :)

Re: New website ideas.

Alright guys, there's some awesome ideas coming in and virtually everyone has earned themselves some rep so far. :)

I am actually considering the notion of creating a website dedicated to general gaming discussions and news which covers each and every platform available, similar to GameSpot and IGN and the like.

AK, innovativegaming.com isn't bad at all; however I would rather go for something a bit more 'short and snappy'. Afraid I don't have any examples at the moment but there ya' go.

To be honest though, I'm interested in opening up a number of new sites. So even if we do settle on a certain subject (in this case, gaming) then we can always continue brainstorming on something totally different.

Remember to keep those ideas coming! I appreciate (and reward) each and every (decent) idea that is contributed.

Re: New website ideas.

How about a site dedicated to me and all my greatness!

Or a site like gamer-review.com where gamers and others alike could post full reviews and rate games in an unbiased atmosphere. It could also serve as an Amazon.com but for games old and new, some which you can't find in stores anymore. It could have potential.....

Re: New website ideas.

Bumpaaaage!

I started development on a forum template a few days ago and it's coming along very nicely. Which is nice, as it means I don't have to fork out an additional fee and purchase one created by another company. Go team!

I'll provide a link sometime this week and let everyone provide some feedback on it.

Anywho, yeah. I'm contemplating creating a website specifically for bloggers to discuss ways to further search engine optimize and monetize their blogs. Possibly even a site dedicated to selling blog templates.

But that does not negate the fact that I am still interested in hearing website ideas and (hopefully) basing an entirely new website around whichever idea(s) I like the sound of. I am really enjoying reading everyone's suggestions and contributions so far.

I'll award 100 rep points each to the next two decent suggestions.

Continue sharing ideas......now!

Re: New website ideas.

I still Say Either the Jak and Daxter Series or the ongoing Kingdomhearts series, because of the fan base. and I can't find a forum I like..hehe

Or Just a GENERAL forum.
that has a game section.
a movie section so on and so forth. I'm not really one for ideas. :'(

Steve, I want to know what some of your other websites are, if they are still operating.

A fansite for almost any of Bioware's games would be wicked as far as I'm concerned...:D
KotOR and KotOR II, Jade Empire and the upcoming Jade Empire II, the upcoming Mass Effect, among others... all totally immersive and beautiful rpgs with really expansive story lines, all with huge fanbases to tap into...

that or ReBoot... hehehe... ReBoot is so totally great...
KotOR would be awesome I love those games

Seeing as I have use of the internet first this morning, I can tell you that Steve has this one, Devil May Cry, Lair of the Lost Wolf and two which have been abandoned.

Obviously, the Lost Wolf site is mine but Steve bought and created it for me and it was purely for me to practice my SEO for when I used to work for a web company. It's just my blog site now (as you know).

We used to also run a GFX Community known as Infinity Effect but closed it some time ago.
