lame i already paid off my LE. gamestop better give me 10 bucks back. this is bs man. well, i guess as long as i still get the content. but i really wanted those cards! didnt much care for the hobbe. still how can they promis all this stuff and then less than a month later just say "oh sorry, you dont get that anymore". if something like that happened at my work, my boss would tell me "i dont care, make it happen."

I thought we all wanted Fable II right? Who cares if we get no hobb or 5 stupid cards? I sure don't. It's only a game, this limited edition stuff gets blown out way outta hand. We only want the game, thx PM.

its not so much that we dont get the stuff, its that they went back on what they promised.

I did, but this doesn't bother me at all. Stuff happens. They didn't do it intentionally and it doesn't have a damn thing to do with Lionhead itself. And at least they reduced the price (which will be a problem if you paid it off already...But that's a good reason to chew out certain retail companies if they say no :-P)

The retail companies have no legal obligation to give refunds. LCE preorders always state that the final product is subject to change. However, most places will subtract the cost of the preorder form the cost of the final game (assuming that you didn't pay for it all)

You know what the best part is? It looks like Microsoft is the one that effed up on this one...yet STILL EVERY ONE IS GOING ON AND ON ABOUT HOW THIS IS FABLE 1 ALL OVER AGAIN. AAAAAAAAARGH.

You know what? I'm sick of the internet (for various reasons, but this is the only one appropriate for this site :-P). If everyone wants to run around accussing game developers of being some sort of monster, fine. I'm just going to go enjoy my damn game when it comes.

I called gamestop today and they heard nothing of the price change, so you better check everything when you go check out to make sure you are not being overcharged.

hopefully are country gets figurine, what are they going to do with all of them sell them seperate, if so i shall be so angry :( Maybe australia, has something different

Oh and i think you can buy hobbe fig sperately

I'm glad I wait to get it from the store. I'll just get the regular copy, and then I won't think about the other anymore. :unsure: I think they sold far more than they thought they would. With all the advertising, and all the people, who play, they had no way to know for sure, till now. I will still love it and play it, till I wear it out.:)

Sadly I fully paid the game off months ago. I'm kinda mad that I $10 went to waste, on the other hand I'd rather get Fable II then get 5 cards and a figurine.

Just got a call from eb (Australia) about the changes to the CE...apparently the price is being reduced to $99.95 as opposed to $120 so that's good I guess...not sure if the normal version is getting a price drop too.
*Sigh*, I really wanted the nice box and everything ;-;
Has it been explained why the stuff has been taken out?

I had no idea that the AUD was so different. 100 dollars for a game, how much did the 360 run? Ouch...:unsure:

Both the Microsoft and Lionhead camps put it on "supply chain issues" as the reason behind the items being cut.

That is obscenely disappointing....

I am a nerd... I want the figurine. And I really wanted the fate cards.... I paid for them after all. They should at least ship them out later or give them to those of us who have pre-ordered and paid... or something.. anything.
