NO MORE SOLUS!

I went to the shop before I went to go fight jack of blades in his dragon form, and they were out of Solus, and it said the next delivery is never! What the ****?!?!?! The last time I remember checking was sometime before I gathered the souls with the mask. Is this normal? Is there some way to get it back? If it's not in the store for me to buy that means I can't get it from lady grey, either, if that way even works. :'(

Well if the next delivery is never...i don't think you will get it :(
I may be wrong though, i have no clue how to interchange this.

Well, if I can't get my solus, I spose I'll go on a rampage and kill everyone. Starting with that bitch Lady Grey, then Briar if I can find her, then Thunder if I can find him, the Chief of Knothole, and finally the Guild Master.

and could you give any info on what happened? just out of curiosity this could come in handy l8r...

The reason is that the shop only receives the Solus Greatsword once, between the Arena quest (right after you finish it and gain access) to about the Archeologist. By that time though, you usually don't have enough money. Lionhead expects you to run around and raise money...

They forgot about the Diamond glitch exploit.

I prefer to legitly get what I want.

As for what happened, I guess like Arladerus said, it's in stock once between a certain period of time.

What's the shop trainer?

And what confuses me is why would they pretend that an NPC bought it, especially with this weapon? Maybe Lady Grey bought it for me already?

I guess they didn't want the most powerful weapon to be shown like in LoTZ. "DUH DUH DUH DUH!! GO TO THE SHOP AND SEE THIS NEW SUPER SEXY AWESOME ULTRA WEAPON THAT YOU MUST GET BUT YOU NEED 300K GOLD TO BUY AND IT'S LIMITED ONLY." They probably wanted you to pass by it the first time without knowing it existed, and then replay and get it.

Well I'll just not save I guess, so I'll go kill now. Anyone know where I can find thunder and briar after I beat the game?

you cant find them without mods I dont think, but if you get TLC you can steal their souls for your use, I will deffinately harvest Thunder, idk about Briar, it would be a waste of such a pretty life...

Well she gave me a master cleaver, and you can buy that from the shop, so she probably still can give you the solus, but it will have the same augments.

Can someone help me spawn it somewhere without augments?

Just mod it so it doesnt have augments, and then spawn it.

Thank you very much, but I have two questions. First one is I have a LEGENDARY_BROADSWORD and a LEGENDARY_BROADSWORD_02, though I proceeded with the first. Then when I got to the augment things, I had one for (int) usable augment slots with a value of 3, then I have (int) available augment slots with a value of 5. Should I clear those out? I know it's labled different, but that's because I couldn't get that update to work since I had nothing to open it with. But to me this sounds what you are talking about with your descriptions, but if it's not, it sounds like it could make it so I can't use any augments on it at all.
