I put in my SSBM copy (fresh from GameFly) into my Wii, and guess what? I hit "Start", and it says "An error has occured".

I cleaned the disk, and I still get that message

And even after a couple of seconds, my Wii's fan gos into high-gear when I pop it in, but it doesnt do it for any other games.

well....no everyone....perhaps some computer hacker srewed with its coding? if anything id say you should just ask for a replacement

I dunno, it should work, and a computer hacker, yes, very likely. Well, your best bet is to talk to Gamefly about it, and if that doesn't work, a swift kick to the junk should do, but really, they should do something about it. Hopefully. And that's all the help I have I guess. Good luck.

And I haven't used my Wii in a long time. Way to go for showing my parents that it was totally worth the Christmas gift, now you made me think and I'm upset.

Ok here's what you do:

1. Polish the disk again
2. put it in the wii
3. press start
4. when the error message pops up, smash the Wii with a bat or a club or your head
5. Take the Wii to Gamefly and tell them that the disk broke your Wii
6. They will give you a replacement or a refund.

(really! This works!)

Never mind, I just sent it back to GameFly for a replacement disk.

Its funny. They say they check every disk they mail to make sure it plays correctly.

Speaking of the wii, would it be called the nosotros in Spain? (spanish speakers will get this)
I liked SSBM far more than SSBB. Too many characters to master in SSBB
