(bit of a Newbie (havn't done graveyard path any help on finden it would be appreciated!) very newbie 2 forums but post lots)

You know the quest where you have to escort 2 travelers (then a third asks if he can join) I believe its the area right before the Darkwood Camp (close to temple of skorm)

zomg lol well to get ppl to follow you around you have to er...be like good... i just took off all my tatoos and everyone had a heart over them... even some of the dudes but yeah...

I Got it on my first try by being fully good walking to skorms chapel teleporting to oakvale getting that merc, teleport to skorms then teleport to oakvale agagin and going to bandit camp getting that merc going back to skorm, saving and then waiting for midnight and sacrificing them i got it on me first try

Its easy the nicer you are. All you have to do is keep waving and emoting your hero pose and flirts with the villagers till they ask for a wedding ring. At that point they will follow you (unless they are busy with something). At one point I kept walking up to people telling them to follow me and they would.

I noticed in my game (with full good, full attractiveness and everyone liking me) I could only get 3 villagers to follow me at a time, if I told a 4th to follow he/she said yes but the follow signal either doesnt appear or it does appear but then dissapears of one of the others. Also got full renown.

I havn't got the bow yet but this sounds pritty easy I'v pritty much maxed out my good and all my spells (got to love sword of ages + everlasting zombies) So I might try this i'v heard the bow is just as good as the sword if you pull it back enough.

not bad...but there is a much better way of getting it. modding no hassle. +rep for the attempt tho

The normal way is really easy to. I always get it at my first try.

Ok after playing TLC I see why there is soooo much confusion and different stories on this.

In the original fable it works pretty much everytime you sacrifice at midnight, if you do it too late or too early the same thing happens every time.

In TLC it is one of many things that are changed in the game.

(a) there is a lot of randomness, one time I will get 600 evil points and another time doing exactly the same thing I get barely 100 evil points.
(b) It is possible to get over 600 evil points for a sacrifice but not get the bow.
(c) When I did get the bow I sacrificed 2 mercs in one go at 6am fully good aligned, completely different timing to original fable, the first merc 625 evil points, got told good sacrifice and I got no gift, 2nd merc 976 evil points, very gratifying message and got skorms bow.

time goes by alot faster in TLC over original fable as well probably making it harder to get timing right. To make it even more confusing and to add to the its random argument I have not been seeing consistent behaviour eg. some sacrifice attempts at midnight also gave me 600+ evil points although they all failed on the bow it was clear the time of day wasnt affecting the evil points I got.
