Online Dating.

What do you think about Online Dating? Cybering? Matchmaking.. and All that Jazz..?

Do you think its Funny, Stupid or Worthwhile?

I've known a few of my mates who have met someone online and then met them in person and they went out and what-not.

Do you know anyone who did the same? And do you think people use this because they're too shy to actually go out and find them and they can hide behind a screen?

Well..

I think its Fine, As long as the person aint some stalker freak.. And If they get along and then meet up thats even better!

Whats your thought?

Oh Yeah, Im pretty sure Alot or nearly Everyone would.

My sister met this guy (Also has Adam as his name!) And They're good together which is nice to see since my Sisters been divorced twice..

^ Meh, Personally not being mean to my sister. I dont think she should re-Marry.. I dont think its her thing. Shes too Commanding and Annoying haha! But yeahh. Shes doing fine without anything really seriously..

random cyberdating is useless..at least from any personal experience. the matchmaking sites and such seem really dumb but they at least have concrete records of results. not too confident in either personally.

Cybering is silly, Im slowly un-doing my jeans, I feel so horny right now.. Haha. It just seems so.. awkward.. and silly. hahaha.

Well as loong as it makes you happy and doesnt make other people unhappy then i find it perfectly fine.

Personally, I think people who are doing to find their perfect match or whatever are to shy to go meet someone. I did that once and I when we actually met, I was too shy to say much. Internet = easy mask.

My tip for people who think they're going to say something stupid or whatever is just to let go. Be yourself. If they think you're an arse, you may well be, but thats who you are and it's no use hiding it.

^ Its so much easier being an ass on the internet but then when you come to be an ass in real life your all like "Oh butttt what if they think im weird, or or they dont like me..!?" Haha

But yeah, The Internet is an easy mask.. (Like you said)

it's fine to me my Uncle met his girlfriend over online dating and they've been together for a couple of years now

Had a few misses with online dating - as in, a few talks over MSN and some weird weird people declaring undying love within a couple of days. But I met Steve online and we're still tolerating one another like all good married couples so it can work. But then again he was also in the same country as me so I could visit easily enough too, which I think can make a big difference. When you're dating someone in another country where you can't get over to see them, trusting them can be a hard thing, I would have thought - and especially if you are not old enough/rich enough to fly over and visit regularly.

I still err on the side of caution when my friends talk about who they've met over the internet - after all, you simply don't know what you're going to get when it comes down to it and despite it working out for me, I would not necessarily be all for it if a friend or relative started online dating - especially long-distance.

It works if your honest and the other person is honest... Usually its only good for a laugh and getting sexy pictures ef Sephiro... I mean some women...

it has the potential to work, providing she isnt really a he, or crazy, or a minor, or incredibly old, or a stalker, or in prison, or needy, or well you get the idea.

you can basicly find 2 types of people online, people who are their real selves online and people that are totally fake. I tryed it once back when I was a dumb nieve teen. its rather silly really.

^Its still fun to mess with people on them though right? Like desperate geeks who cant get any action? Like I remember this one guy a few years ago I conned into thinking I was a girl, then I played him up and after he thought I loved him I ripped his heart out... I believe his name was something cartoony... I remember, it was some guy called TJ Griffin, Ha, what a loser he was.
