Quick Question

I'm getting around £40 - £60 during Easter.

I want a new game.

Should I buy..
Final Fantasy XIII
I only really liked VII and IX.. But from what I've seen it looks pretty good.

Metro 2033
I've kept track of this for a while and it seems interesting.

Fifa 10
I loved the demo. Addictive and cheaper than the above.

Splinter Cell: Conviction
I played the demo. It was fun. Although I'd have to wait until April 10th.

Any thoughts on the games to give me some insight on what they're like?

FFXIII Is by far the best I have seen until later this year, however I haven't played it yet as I hate juggling Campaigns.

I'd recommend Splinter Cell Conviction and skip the rest. Get it for PC and we can co-op.

FFXIII is great, but has a super linear story line (you can't deviate from it at all until about 30 hours in) and its difficulty curve sky rockets later in the game.

Why recommend a game if you haven't played it?

FFXIII is good, if you liked FFX-2 or FFX then you'll probably like XIII, but I don't know if the forced soap-opera drama or common anime cliches that plague it will interest you. I found the voice acting to be enjoyable for a good number of the characters (Sazh, Hope, Fang etc.), but poor for the others. The battle system is definitely fun especially once you finally have full control over it in Chapter 10 (30-40hrs in), because it does get very repetitive in the first half as you're limited to only doing a few things.

I too really enjoyed the demo for FIFA 10, but I'll be picking it up some time down the road.

Get Metro 2033 if you like games with a sence of clustrafobea on the other hand final fantesy X111 is a good game if you have the patience I just finished it 2 nights ago and fifa 10 isn't that great compared to the games that are out and will be released in a few weeks like Just Cause 2 and Splinter Cell conviction

No. People were saying "It looks good from what I've heard." Therefore, recommending a game they haven't played.
