Movie: The Rage
Rating: 2/10
Reason: The basic premise: An evil scientist with a German accent tries to create a race of super-human/zombies, but the experiment backfires, and he turns into a zombie himself. The zombies then go after a group of weed-smoking, party-going 20-somethings. One by one, they are picked off. First the black dude, then the hispanic chick, then the black chick, then the white guy, leaving only the white female still alive. I'm not racist in the slightest, but I've seriously noticed a pattern with low-budget horror movies. That's almost always the order in which the characters are killed. Of course the movie ends with all of the zombies dead, and the main character walking away, feeling triumphant. The music then picks up sharply, as you see an entire flock of zombie birds heading her way. Ooh! Spooky!

One point for sheer laughability. This movie was so ridiculously bad, it was funny. Horrible actors combined with an even more stereotypical and cliche'd storyline made for one stupid film. The other point goes to the somewhat decent softcore sex scene. Not bad, until the zombie comes up and puts a hatchet to the dude's head, following up by ripping the chick's eyeballs out. Nice. Exactly how I want my romantic night to end. So overall, this movie sucked. I DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING THE MONEY TO RENT THIS MOVIE. Fortunately for me, I watched it at a friends house, who got it for free from another friend. So no harm done, apart from 2 hours of my life completely wasted...

Don't mess with the Zohan: In short, a pile of crap. Not funny, bad acting, even worse accents (who knew that all Palestinians and Israelis were really French/Italian/Welsh?) and terrible politics.

All you need to bring peace to the middle east is sex with the elderly, a hacky sack tournament and hairdressing, apparently....

1/10 - the one is for the terrorist hotline...that was vaguely amusing...

Got around to watching Blood Diamond, it was actually much better than i was expecting and id rate it an 8/10.

I normally take Leonardo DiCaprio movies with a pinch of salt, especially when hes trying to do accents but overall it was a good movie. Killed some time while i was relaxing and didnt have much to do.

Exactly the same thing i thought before watching the movie to be honest. I knew very little about it and seeing Leonardo DiCaprio starring was enough to make me think that. The violence is quite well done and it doesnt try to portray happy times put it that way. :lol:

Think i watched Shooter on the plane to Canada, was good from what i remember. Pretty sure it was that movie anyway... i could be mistaken.

Mark Wahlberg? Danny Glover? Lots and lots and lots of things blowing up? they even made the romance element next to nothing which was even better...I'd have hated it if they'd ruined it with some bird in every scene...

Yeah i have seen it (just checked the IMDB) and it was the movie i was thinking of. ^_^

Dumb and Dumberer: 7/10 just because the guy being Jim Carrey is very good at his impersonation and I like really stupid predictable films like that.

White Chicks: 9/10 coz it never fails to make me rofl although it does have too many soppy moments for my taste. Love the dance off and everything with Terry Crews...

I have that on DVD i actually like that movie, Ron Perlman is really good as Hellboy and i love kroenen. Such a badass bad guy and looks cool too.

Kingdom of Heaven: 8/10. Despite the typical Orlando Bloom I-can't-actually-be-anything-other-than-earnest-drama-school-student-no-matter-what-film-I'm-in acting abilities, I enjoy a good epic movie with very little overt romance so I was happy with it. Can't watch Jeremy Irons without seeing Scar though...most disturbing...

It's good to see these guys on the big screen in a live action movie. But that's about it - the characters are all wrong, their back story is all wrong which makes the movie just feel "wrong".

They totally slaughtered the fantastic Dr. Doom... After Ultimate Alliance, he's grown on me. But this movie just failed to do him justice, and on top of that they twisted the character to something else than he really is, with a totally different story, characteristics and powers!

The more I think of it, the more this movie p*sses me off. Blah.

Children of Men 8.5/10
entertaining movie with a decent plot and great camera work. Some shots are 15 minutes long (or even longer?) and that really makes you feel like you`re there. Recommend it.

V for Vendetta 8/10
It was a very good movie, but I enjoyed Children of Men a little more so I can`t give it the same score. Plot was better and V (the main character) was an interesting, mysterious character.

The Jacket 8/10
For anyone who like Butterfly Effect.

Fargo 7.5/10
Some black humor. A nice entertaining movie with a great actor - Steve Buscemi.

Mean Girls 2/10
If you like Lindsay Lohan, watch it (although I think Lacey Chabert is much better looking). It offers a few laughable jokes, but other than those bright moments, it sucks.
