Red Ring of death on chirstmas?

I know Christmas was a week ago but I'm curious. I got the Red Ring of Death on christmas and i was wondering if anyone else get the red ring of death on there 360 on Christmas day?
I know like 3 other people who had this happen to them.

Meh, no one I know has had that happen.
Besides, Christmas isn't one of those troublesome dates, it's not like what happened to all of the Zunes.

Oh, Microsoft. When did you get so bad at coding your OS'?

This isnt relatd but my friend got to red wings so he kewdnt send it to get fixed because it's not covered by Microsoft because they don't know how to buuild a 360 so he did the trick were you wrapp it in towls and let it overheat which to my surprise works and thn he managed to break it more so it had 3 red rings so now they'll fix it for free XD

My PS2 decided to have laser problems 2 weeks before Christmas a few years ago and took 4 hours to read all my new games on Christmas Day. Also my Playstation had the same problem a couple of weeks before my birthday and would take forever to read anything. My 360 has been fine over the Christmas's although did Red Ring shortly after getting GTA IV but was back in 6 days. Whereas had to buy a new Playstation and a new PS2 as Sony refused to honour the warranties for some reason.

I just got the RRoD a few days ago. Good thing I still have my elite, or I'd just jump straight back to Sony.

Ours did. 2 Flashing rings. It's getting too hot. After 23 minutes once. :lol: Oh well, it does okay, and we're dealing with it.

^Sounds like my first bit of problems with mine. Graphic intense games would make it overheat (2 RR's) after about 15-20 minutes, then after a few months I had to send it in. Now it was crashing every 5 minutes on ANY game. Oh well, got my new one now. Yes, they sent me a new one instead of repairing. Now the grays of the harddrive and the thing in front of the harddrive don't match. :'(

Well my xbox is fine, but my tv decided to kill itself and i dont have another tv to play my xbox on, so i have to w8 to buy a new tv so im screwed for a couple of months ><
