Rent Money

How do you pick up rent money? I mean i walk around.. and not every 5 minutes i have got money.. actually i dont recall anytime getting money.. even when i turn my xbox off it wont give me any.. anybody no why?

or a different way to get the money?

i sometimes dont get the money every 5 mins either, but i do get money every 5-15 mins, and it just pops up on your screen with the amount you get, like every 5-15 mins i get 6978 popping up on my screen, but shutting off my xbox i make about a few thousand each night, it just automatically does it...

I thought that you would get exactly the same amount of rent if your xbox was on or off but you don't :/

Yeah but i was pure and then made like 4 of my houses go 100% and im still like all good in pure! Yaaay! I fixed it, Thanks.

well, u can make a moderate profit just leaving the prices as is, or if you want profit overtime keeping your community happy then lower the prices

I own like 15 homes that are being rented. I just set the prices -20% and now people love me even more!

I lost my halo because I upped the rent by an average of 20%, couple 50%...it didn't phase my purity for a day though (IRL day) and now I'm trying to get the halo back although not too terribly concerned about it, the ladies flock to me with or without it

Can someone clear this for me?

Do we get money when the console is turned off????? If yes, how???????? Do we have to do something special when we rent out our property???

I had property rented, then turned off my console and went to bed, the next morning...NOTHING!!!!! It's really irritating. Especially that i don't play often, so it will benefit me if i make money from rent.

^ Yes you have to drink a Virgin Chicken's blood during the Fool Moon while singing Forever Young and then you can collect rent while your game is off!!!

yes you get one hours worth of rent and profits (i.e. 12 times what you normally get every 5 minutes)

Just buy a house, set to rent it.. make sure its not -100% Budget thing and then SAVE it then turn off ya Console and go away.
