she was dead that entire time, killed by Lucien when you where young, only brought back to life as a kid at the end of the game if you picked family

she was not alive during the whole game

killed when she was (i say) 13 and brought back alive at the same age (witch i guessed to be 13)

I have never played through to choose the "resurrect Rose and dog" decision, but did it ever say that she was resurrected in the present day as a kid? I always assumed that she had been resurrected in the past as a kid and would now be able to grow up off with Scythe, or failing that had been resurrected as an adult.

well you assumed wrong, shes worm food through out the entire game unless you bring her back with the family choice

my point still stands

Re: Rose

Considering that it's never confirmed whether Rose was actually resurrected, I think all this conjecture is itself, based on conjecture. Conjecture^2 = Pointless conversation.

letter fom rose you get after you choose family

Dear Sparrow,
I woke up today in such a peculiar place. It's like a great big forest, with lots and lots of trees that go on forever. I was scared at first because I couldn't find you, but there's someone here who says he knows us, says he knows our family. He told me his name, but I keep forgetting it. Weird. I think he's a king or something. He's very thin and wears a hood and looks scary, but he's nice and I feel safe with him here. I hope you're okay Little Sparrow. Somehow I know that it's all going to be alright, and we'll be together again one day. He promised me.
Love
Rose

also your dog comes back to life and your family (if you started one) comes back to life... letter is proof

Re: Rose

The letter is far from proof. She could be in some kind of afterlife. The Spire could have made the letter up just to give you peace and closure. For all we know, Rose is probably still dead. I think if they had intended to properly resurrect Rose, you would have seen her actually appear at the end, rather than getting correspondance from some mystical forrest.

Not to mention the fact that it would have been weird for some only-just-pubescent kid to be running around with the evil overlord of the universe.

hmm you think shes with JoB dont you... just goes to show what you know any way....

your dog comes backafter beening killed by Lucien, your family (if you started one) comes back after beeing killed by Lucien's men . why the hell would your sister not come back after beeing killed by Lucien ??

Re: Rose

She obviously doesn't come back in the same way as your family does. Shes nowhere to be found at the end of the game, unlike your family and dog. I'm just drawing conclusions from that fact and given the somewhat surreal and mystical description of her location in the letter, I doubt she's anywhere in Albion. Why that is, I do not know. You'll have to ask the writers.

Besides, I don't think she's with Jack at all. If I had to pick, I'd pick Scythe, but given the lack of information, at this point I'm abstaining from voting on that issue.

What you're not realising is that you're a Hero. They're probably longer lived.

Oh right, I forgot that heroes aren't normal people (besides the fact that they do grand things). Haven't played either game since See the Future, you know. :O

If Rose dies at 17 or whatever she could be in the beginning, and dead people don't age (you don't see people who have been dead for a hundred years or so dying again - or coming back to life), she would most definitely be revived (if you so choose in the Spire) at the age of 17. The only ramification the whole being dead then revived thing could bring would be that she has no skin or flesh when she comes back to life. She would still be 17. XD

I just think that the endless trees and the guy who she feels safe with is just a little mystical. But what I think doesn't even matter when my original point was that we don't know anything for sure concerning Rose's resurrection (which is conjecture), and making further conjecture based on that is pointless.

And you, sir, are an asshole.

See the letter you quoted below.

Nowhere does it specify her age, the time, or, conclusively, whether wherever she is qualifies as a real place.

The letter could be old an have just arrived, or it could be a mystical letter from the dead. "We'll be together again one day," which you so kindly emphasized, could refer to "when you die."

In this case, I agree. There is nothing but opinion here.

You seem to be very quick to attack someone who has done nearly nothing to you at all. I would suggest you step back for a moment and realize that you've been somewhat of a d*ck to people on here, and lay off. Even if you don't mean it, that's how you've come off a decent amount of times.

I agree, Aions was just informing you politely because he could have went the bad way and disrespect you, and you call Aions an asshole for correcting you, diid you call your teachers, relative an asshole for correcting you?

And the horse you rode in on, too, my friends.

Respectful my pasty white ass. He wasn't correcting ****. He was claiming his opinion as fact and doing so in a snide and sarcastic way. "well you assumed wrong." Maybe I'm overly sensitive. Hell, I probably am. **** it anyway.

Re: Rose

Considering it was me he was addressing, I didn't pick up anything offensive. I just thought Walker was quoting a movie or book or something.
